While I have no idea what summon Vanille is going to have,
from what the magazine have revealed so far,
the Host and the Summon beast seems to be share similiar identities and signatures.


Lightning's fierceness and Odin's brutal forces.

Snow's coolio looking with warming heart is portrayed via the Twin sisters from the Iceberg

Sazh a's burning Passion with the Fire Maiden Brynhilde

Hope's elegant and royal prince assemblance with the Castlebearer Alexander

Fang's ruthlessness with the Ferocious Bahamut


I do expect Vanille 's summon will be as 'delicate' as her .

the harp lady , as shown in the trailer is suppose to be Siren.


A Famitsu issue has confirmed that Ifrit , Carbunkle will not be playable in combat ,which is quite a let down.

as for guessing for Vanille's summon ,I am guessing she will have a Lightning elemental summon

A mechanical Cactuar will be really interesting to see =p

japanese have robot fetishes =p

I am somehow a little disappointed at design of bahamuts ,it doesn't looks like an eidolon nor a dragon for that case .

Would be interesting to see how they design Alexander ( which is already a giant machine )

I wish they give us option where you can fight with eidolon +
all 3 characters present at 1 time...

additional information is revealed,

You can ride Chocobo and run on the field of Pulse in FF13.

When you encountered enemy the HP life bar will drop ,when it drop to 0 the chocobo will run away.

A new place is revealed 'Sanress' ,a natural field that is protected in the sphere of Cocoon.

Alexander's driving mode is You sai [Barrack / Castle ] ,Suggesting Alexander may be immobilie ,or may not be able to move quickly during its driving form.

For us who could read japanese its this Xmas =)

Maybe there are other hidden summons? Or other hidden things that we do not know. Are you new to FF series? Or perhaps new to the gaming world?


Almost in every single final fantasy , before its release various game magazine would report about its battle systems, summon beasts etc to make it the selling point. And how did you know if there is only 6 ,there might be a hidden 1, or something suprising.

I watched the US trailer, the only voice actor i liked is Lightning's .

The rest is below average..... Probably not going to get the US ver

My hands by Leona Lewis , a totally different song than the Jap 1.


Its a nice song and Leona is such a powerful singer , but i can't envision anything from FF13 to go along with the song..

Chocobo are suppose to be ostrich looking bird, with a chicken + bird's appearance , sort of .

This is a HD FF13, things have to brush up and looks more realistic ,if it looks 'cute' people will bash them alot. I have no problem with how the chocobo looks ,its a new FF and not everything have to follow exactly like what it has been.

though i m still very disappointed at their choice of song

Alexander lands down on the field, like a meteorite =O


Vanille's summon is ...extremely disappointing , it doesn't even look cool.
I was expecting something bigger.. and more destructive..

Looks like 1 of the 'Thousand hand buddha ' in the chinese mythology , in mechanic form that is.

they usually milk the game by adding some small side quest, or some new pallette swap bosses to milk the game sales to the max.

There's nothing's wrong with the International version, despite of the inferior voice acting ( Last time i heard lightning's voice in english is brilliant ) ,its not like if you buy INT ver they are going to chop down your game time by 2 hours


Though you cant expect everybody to buy the Japanese version, not everyone here could understand Japanese
[infact most people can't , Japanese-Wannabee /Animu Freak excluded ]

Just because you are not buying it, does not mean you should stop other people as well.

^ history of releasing early? Are you sure thats HK version =)?
I am pretty sure at FF10 time there is no HK version for most of Square Enix game, so you must be remembered the wrong game . Else I wouldn't have to buy the FF10 for over rm 350 8 years ago...


I remembered when FF10 was leaked 2 days earlier, I manage to find a copy at sungai wang, but they are selling at rm 750 + , those scammer..

yes, but that is not HK version.

I am one of the person who bought them earlier ,they are legimately , the Japanese version.

My FF10 came with a mini OST and a 'making of' vid + FF 11 trailer too.
