How do u turn on flight mode when your phone is off?
I know that it can be turned to flight mode aka offline when phone is on though.

if it is off.. how in the world u gonna turn on anything? no such thing .. fly mode is only during ur phone is on.. it disable the cell signal received. so basically ur phone become like mp4 player..

Sorry, what i meant was,
when phone is off, turn it on (flight mode) without the cell signal directly instead of turning the phone to ON with cell signal, then change to flight mode.
Any way to do that?

Regarding s60spoton, the torch light is not bright. Any others to make it brighter?
I did install besttorch, but it didn't work. best torch has the function to change the intensity of the LED light.

just a quick question. i heard tha nokia e71 can get water damage easily.how can you tell when phone is water damaged? i see the dot under my battery and its white but are there more in the phone?

outside you cant see. Inside the phone if water went in there will be stain or marks against metal or rust

^ Oh ok... but what types of problems occur when this happens? How easily can this happen? I've left my previous phones in the bathroom while showering by accident a few times before but after hearing about this phones sensitivity im too scared to even use it with sweaty hands. =/

Try avoid putting the phone in the bathroom because accidents does happen. Like mine my Nokia 6600 while i was showering a call came in. Vibrate vibrate and it was shock the phone drop from one corner flew to the other corner and drop into a basin fill with water for 5 sec. I took it out immediately remove the battery. When u shake the phone u see water flying out. Imagine how scare i was.

After 2weeks of leaving it try. It works again but there was some minor malfunction like earpiece too soft, vibrate not strong.


For your scenario if u put your phone in the bathroom without hot vapor it wont be a problem.

Tis phone is quite durable .. Infact.. There was tis article where tis russian guy let its e71 go through multiple kind of durability test and d e71 survive all.. Sweaty hand is ok de la jus tat it will fade ur keypad faster nia lor..

guys, i need your help in this
i tried configuring my emial and screwed up.
so i uninstall the standard nokia for exchange mail client.


now i can see my mailbox there but nothing inside as if it did not uninstall clean. Any idea hwo to go about this? even when i press my mail button, it goes to that folder.

Maybe the easiest way it to take out the sim card before turning on? You can use the phone without sim card in offline mode.

It's not the latest GarminXT version. Already checked, the TSAutorun-something is no longer running, so I presume the bug has been fixed by deleting the 2 files.

wat version u running on? although u may hav delete those two files sometimes they will still run.. so to be safe jus install the newer version..
