Yup.. Same here.. Cimb didnt update their software hav to use shift key and press like normal keypad on the no. to enter letter..

I only get 1+ day of battery life. Around 30min calls, set to retrieve emails every 1 hr between 9am-9pm, 1 hr web surfing on 3.5G, phone memory and sdcard encryiption on.

Already fixed the GarminXT bug by deleting 2 files...still only 1 day plus.

Deleting 2 files? Wat version u runnin? Make sure u got the latest... 1 day + with ur usage is consider normal.. Mine also 1 day + nia.. 2 hour edge surfing, cals, sms, music..

That is why I am shocked when someone claimed that the phone can last for 3-4 days. When I was sick and I hardly touch my phone and it could only last for like two days or so. Definitely nothing more than 3 days

aaa, try format your phone. maybe got virus inside perhaps and the virus keep running on phone background? that is why your phone just last for 2 days. i think my phone also got virus before this. after sent to nokia centre, I didnt plug in my phone to my laptop because I just installed kaspersky and the kaspersky detected a virus that can be detected by avira and nod32 (was using this before using kaspersky). if not because of virus, then you should send your phone to nokia centre. they will examine the phone for you.

Well, I am on my third day and it's left with 2 bars. Normally about 30 mins of call a day, average 5 SMS/day. Another 30mins of gaming on it.

it used to be better though...Kinda went downhill after i upgraded the firmware...

AFAIK, the virus infected yr phone because you insert as a removable media in Windows but it won't affect the phone because it is running on different operating system.

id there any other better msn messenger software than fring? kinda irritating as everytime it auto starts after i restart my phone.

then im wrong thanks for the info. but I wonder why the technician from nokia centre said that they gonna clean up my data due to virus that caused the phone battery lifetime drains fast.

i recommend u use killme and unable autokill. That will make sure all unnecessary app running on background are close to sustain better battery life

Is it possible to replace the E71x firmware with E71's? Couldn't get rid of the AT&T branding and I doubt any shop can get it done here.. Wonder if there's any shops in Malaysia that can do it?
