for high mem clocks
cpu tweaker doesnt help
other than helping tweak the main timings

the subtimings doesnt do much good other than rtl's
and rtl's is based on voltage ratios and dram chipsets.

Careful people, you don't want to burn up your CPU and Motherboard together. Affects boards with Foxconn sockets.

The issue is with the socket, not the chip. I feel weird too because Foxconn has been making sockets for so long but stupid things happen sometimes I guess sad.gifq

yah from a new consumer point of view, we may think that it is simply the socket's problem. LGA1156 CPU has 175 pads for VCC and LGA1366 CPU has 250 pads for VCC. Imagine that the power draw that the LGA1566 requires is the same as the LGA1366, how much stressed would be placed on those smaller number of VCC/VSS pins contact on the LGA1156.

but however they found out that it all happened to only FOXCONN socket, but not to another manufacturer LOTES (used mainly by evga). apparently is due to some pins not in contact at all! now foxconn is well aware of the issue.

i think the ambient is around 27-28 non aircon room but highly ventilated.
btw my hyper 212+ is on pullpush config.

my proc is this-> http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=777959
2.8ghz with turbo on btw..(settings still all stock.. dare not move on till i know that the temps are safe) and ive resat the heatsink and tried another method of applying the TIM.. temps down by 2 degrees :/

*edit* finally got the hang of OC-ing the i5.. did 3.49ghz on stock voltage with load @ 60C XD... tho i dont wanna increase the voltage much as it will affect my monthly electric billzz (learned it the hard way)
