I signed up an account on TT website and bought an eSIM to switch over.
Received the email with eSIM barcode.
Downloaded the TT app.

Problem.
1. Cannot login with the mobile, "invalid mobile number".
2. Activate SIM
- Switch to TT.
- Port in - enter the phone number and select telco
- Select SIM type - eSim
- Scan eSim QR code
- Choose a new number ????

I am porting in, why need to chose a new number ?

You're right. I called the hotline. Need to choose the list of numbers as temporary number.

Anyway, the portout sms is confusing or only me too dumb to understand.

1st Attempt

After a while, received the sms said under processing.

It has been 24 hours, my Umobile still got signal.

I called Umobile.

I got 0 balance as I am using auto-debit but need to manually pay the unbilled 1 month first.
Then only they will process the port out.

The problem is I didn't receive any rejected sms except the "under processing" sms.

Anyway, I called TT to re-submit and I received the PortOut confirmation sms in just next few minutes only.

Let see how it goes this time.
