why charge rm10 for changing esim? the esim is already build in . it’s does not cost anything to TT, it’s even save a sim card cost. TT really try everything to rip off

It's not only TuneTalk

digi is free. maxis got charges.

The eSIM is currently offered for free for new customers. If you’re an existing Celcom customer, there’s a charge of RM5 if you’re a subscriber for less than a year. You could also request for an eSIM for free if you’re replacing a faulty SIM card.

in the future when eSIM is used widely then maybe it will be standard pricing for all
just like the simcard pricing nowadays
price used to be RM30 per simcard number way back
now it is as low as RM5 per simcard
even free from Yoodo

so i guess eSIM will have lower pricing later
free? hmmm i dont think so because telcos need to for a small revenue to kira2 their customer registration process
consider it as "processing fee" i.e maybe RM5 for each registration

sound affordable, yes? unless the person paying RM6k for an iphone refuse to pay RM5 for an eSIM then it's the user's fault
for lower spec phone i think they will still have option for physical simcards in the future
who knows, manufacturers still wana fork out small amount of money to assemble the simcard tray

I don't feel esim is more atas. Telco should give free esim or give some token as they have already save a cost of SIM card. but they go charge the customer for it. this is too capitalism, trying to make money from every holes they found. further more, need to walk in to centre to get the esim.

in the end it is about money bro
nanti jadi boss, baru you tau how it feels to feed employee's punya pockets

the "walk in to center" part will get better later
online system needs to be open for customers sooner or later
for now they keep the registration only for their staffs to see traffics

Is anyone not satisfied with their Hi-15 internet speed?

It says "hi-speed" in the terms and conditions but it is slow - to the point that can't even play YouTube at 1080p smoothly.

Tested with fast.com and not even 1.0Mbps average. 🙃

Checked APN setting and followed their setting.

Do any of the plans come with "free" sms like they do with calls?
