The oldies should probably discuss setting up a LYN guild. Open to all in LYN as per usual.

Will run through it more when the time comes because when I spoke to Regina, she mentioned SEA has very little presence. We should actually try to make a greater impact in the GW2 scene so they'll consider setting up servers closer to SEA ;w

i dun get it... why want a SEA server?
Why can't play in international server? International got lots more player...
i'm sorry to ask this because all my previous MMORPG i played in international server and i do not have any problem, about the lag i just get myself accustomed to it...

It is official that you can choose what region you are from when you login so that you will be connected to server close to you. But you will be in the SAME WORLD with others that connected to theirs. There is NO REGION LOCK in GW2. Man lyn's info is slow. Even that skill build site. =x

there's no reason to post info on LYN because everything can be found out in just 1-2 clicks on guru site and wiki.

So, when you think GW2 will be released? I dont think they will release so close to D3 (May 15th) , nor will they do it in April, so ... June ?

June maybe... April is too short notice with all the Preorder and Beta-Events that they are planning. They do want to release it in the summer holidays as well, so emaybe May-July window.

much like 12-10-8 or 11-10-10 in GW1, we will be able to allocate trait points to create "builds". The trait lines for each profession can be found at Here. It is not complete and is based off Press Beta.

Number of things about the chart, it is assumed that players will put points in increments of 5, because you only unlock traits every 5 points. Also, You have 916 base in ALL stats. With pvp gear you get 813/580/580 to primary/secondary/tertiary stat from your amulet and +60 per piece for slotting your armor/weapons. Another ~200 from set bonuses. So the 700 from traits isnt a huge deal. Your choice of amulet matters more.

I would like to disagree... If you put the full 30 points in one trait line, you will gain either 300 points in one stats and 30% increased duration/pool/pet attribute (depend on the profession specific stat), or 300 points in TWO stat

If you say you will gain 800 stat point from your amulet, by fully investing 30 points in one trait line, you will get 37.5% worth of that amulet. If you are boosting your secondary stat, by fully investing 30 points, you are gaining more than 50% worth.

If you pump everything in toughness/vitality, you'll be hard to kill. unfortunately, you are also hard-pressed to kill someone/something. The vice-versa is also correct (like in PvE standpoint, you'll be dishing out major damage, but you'll die from two or three hits from the mob)

^Consider the different class mechanics too.

Thieves would benefit less from trickery/acrobatics inherent boosts to toughness and vitality due to their shadow step and invisibility mechanics although that does not go to say that its very efficient to cap traits.
