While PvP is super serious business, the GW2 developers added something lighthearted in to the Niflhel map that made me smile every time. If your team could secure the Keep, an announcement would pop up on screen saying, ""The Keep is yours. Keep it!" and if your team lost the Keep it'd say, "You couldn't keep the Keep." It's just flavor but I appreciated it.

Yosh! Just pre-purchased GW2! In time for the Beta Weekend.

for this beta weekend event we will get 2000 gems free.

wut r u guys gonna spend it on?

i'll buy exp boosts with it.

150 gems, +50% exp per kills for an hour.

is there any way i can download the whole game instead of the game client downloader only? i wan use my 20mb line to download and bring it another place with 5MB to play.

download the gw2.exe
put gw2.exe into a folder, say d:\gw2
run gw2.exe

wait until it fully updates
copy d:\gw2 into thumb drive

also, u need to pre purchase the game in order to be able to participate in this coming beta weekend.



can level up faster during these 3 days of beta testing.
it will be wiped so might as well spend them 2000 gems on the gems shop to try out those things.

levels is nt important in GW2...
if u do all the hearts and events together with ur personal story, ur lvl would be perfectly fine...
GW2 is nt like the other games where ur level advantage matter cause ur lvl would be scaled down to the suitable level for an area (let say if u are lvl 40 u go into a lvl 20 area u will be lvl 20... this system is known as the effective level)...
so no point to level...

i have been playing in most of the GW2 events so far and i would say the main concern is on money rather than level lolx...
since it is beta, take ur time to explore the map, it is a beauty on max settings and u will level up in-line with it...

We at OMGeek are also wondering which world you guys will be settling on. The prospect of having an alliance in World vs World with out SEA communities sounds epic and exciting!

and dun be bothered about the spec/ traits...
the game still have some way to go and i am sure there would be balance changes to those =)

I was wondering what the hell should I add for my ranger (new to GW series).

the traits would depend on ur playstyle a lot especially ur weapons (or attunement if u are an elementalist)...
only decide after u try them all out in the game...
