Yes the HID flashlight is always the BEST if price is not a consideration.
Wondering if someone ever bring along a HID for the next gathering?  drool.gif

Indeed, there is nothing to compare to an HID in terms of throw and runtime. Incands do have very good throws too, but suffers from shorter runtimes comparatively. Too bad I'm on this side of the pond, else I can bring my mini HID for you all to check out.

G2Z is suppose a Xenon!!! Dah Dah!!, the LED version is G2ZL, Z-B-I's surefire I believe all Xenon too?

(Hey Xenon and Xeno similar mah, why you like Xeno not Xenon leh? laugh.gif )

Anyway Xenon besides the low run time, the bulb life also 1 issue, my Conqueror using Philip 20W bulb, which by right has about 25-30 hours of life, but usually it could go longer.

Yeah lor, the price of the polarion PH40 will be 2195x3.5= RM7682.5. I think I should open a separate savings account for this, called omgcantbelieveimdoingthisforHIDgg.

Hee hee, I think he said original (xenon). Anyway, is this P60 compatible? if it is, then you have nothing to worry about wink.gif

G2Z originally is a zenon but you can drop in any P60 but the drawback is the heat management cause it was made with nitrolon not 6061 alloy. However I did used M60 (malkoff) with G2Z before but for a short period before i switch it off. Now the M60 reside in my M2.

How come jwyj didn't response to my PM yesterday. I'm waiting his reply regarding his M2XC4 bundled with G2Z.

Although you are from Miri, but I beleive you will have chance to come to KL, then you may show us your modded Mag with HID.

HID is good, but too bright for my use, only EDC home or outside.

I use my light most of the time at 30% of the full brightness of Q5 or R2 max (+-240lm) tongue.gif save energy and save the LED life, oh and my eyes too. blush.gif

But if you are in the need to blast in outdoor, sure HID is good. Oh I use my Conqueror 20W Xeno(N) for this purpose, 45 min run time though. As for the last Oct gathering, we are conclude that a HID Flood light is no match for any small Thrower smile.gif (Tested from my car's HID, Floody light)

But I am sure HID Thrower will be dominating! thumbup.gif

Not at the moment ... if I'm able to find another Megalennium body (that uses 3x18650 vs 3x17670 for the M6), I may consider selling it off. When that happens, I'll surely check here with you guys first before opening it to the world.

I haven't fired it up in quite a while, so perhaps I'll do so in the next few days, time permitting. I remembered the first time I turned it on after dark in my garden, I didn't know where to point it as it got so bright that I thought I'd surely disturb or upset the neighbours. They'd have thought WTH is that light smile.gif Of course I can bring it the next time I go KL, if the schedule permits and if you guys are raring for another meet then.

I bought it for more then the sale price, if you factor in the EMS shipping sweat.gif For those interested, a Spore CPF member have one in black for sale at the moment.

I almost jumped on this but decided to go with a 26W HID as I already have the Jil Lite Eznite 10W HID. There were 2 3x18650 Megalennium bodies that went on sale in CPF the past few weeks and I manage to snag one. Just keep an eye out as there maybe more on sale.

Lazyboy, your Eznite, is it using primary batts or the rechargeable pack? I read the output is fantastic due to it's superior reflector (made by Polarion) and the fact that you can adjust focus as well. And which 26W HID is that you got? Do tell more or even better, some pics!

Yea, I'm often around 30%-50% which is enuf. Don't want to push the LED too much eh, unless we have a gathering when we're mostly on 80 - 120% tongue.gif hahaha

Hi guys,

I have some pictures of the lights and module my friend is selling. I would like to correct that it is indeed a black G2 and G3, not Nitrolon 6P and 9P (seems that in his gang, it is mentioned that way).

1) G2 (USD 50) and G3 (USD80). Both include original incans and LED dropins. (edited)

2) Nitecore EX10 R2 version (USD50), Dereelight MCE drop in (USD50) (this is with the new driver), Aurora P7 2 mode (USD36)

The prices stated are not fixed and my friend is willing to hear offers for the items listed smile.gif
