1) Hell no, its good. Maybe need to add 1 or more FINANCE stock. When rally really takes off, FINANCE STOCK will fly first
2) No, it is not a waste. You buy based on your means
3) I sell as long I see profit. Because for me, I will never knows what it will be in future. Except YTL, IOI can hold long long term

Not bad, almost 31K capital, now almost 37K..
I envy your KNM, RCE
*
1)wanted to buy pbbank but looks like a bit expensive for me. is it still worth buying?
2)phew...can relieve a bit..
3)is 20% margin a norm for those side liners? sometimes i feel a bit dilemma; to race like a turtle or like a rabbit. To turtle, buy and hold till KLCI reaches 1500. To rabbit, buy sell and buy sell, higher frequency = higher return?, but timing is hard to catch!

Well, if he is 100% correct, he will be the richest man in the world. Anyway, I just dun like the way he talk about certain stocks, but some of his principles are actually quite correct. To follow or not to follow him is our choice. I choose not to follow, because if market rally, everyone are actually making money, just how much we are actually gaining? 50%? 2x? 3x? etc...
*
Actually one doesn't need to follow or not follow, read up other opinion (like or not like doesn't matter) is good to remind and enlight us for broader view.

Wah....looking at your portfolio as of now, seems like losing a lot of money. Maybe a reset of portfolio, balance out with more stable and long term counters. I see that you bought SeaLink at quite high price also  sweat.gif

Maybe they are shorting the market. But in KLCI, if you want to short, have to ask Mr #1 man

yes, im clearing off, once it hit the ABP, will lelong all. Stated with Sealink, sold 2/3 today. Next to clear is SCOMI and SAAG.

Im converting to cash slowly.. Eyeing only 1 stock, will shift to that stock only. So that I can sleep at peace.

I have narrow down to 3 stocks. 2 are FINANCE and 1 is CONSUMER (Trading/Services).

TARGET to clear all : MID NOV 09

1) it is expensive based on valuation or just share price? It view expensive based on share price, then the word expensive is wrong already. No offence.

2) Diversified or not, it is up to individual risk appetite. There is no right or wrong.

3) Never try to time the market for long term investment, market 'time' you back if one is looking for it. Can't say 20% margin is right or wrong. As we just have severe downturn which just happened in multi-decade time, so now it is bounce up on recovery. In norm time, over long term, a gain of 10~20% pa is considered a very ok and good performance already.

Axreit is not a ordinary stock, it is a reit.

Reit is never as same as normal stock.

SIME is a mess - of course is like buying stock in the GUBMINT - but I just wish they had a bit more focus than always wanting a finger in every pie...... yawn.gif

Now THAT is an interesting selection rclxms.gif
AXIATA I got in the cupboard already....
I'm holding PBB and Commerz at the moment and there was someone on here earlier who was saying to dump one of them (can't remember which one) and go into MAYBANK....

They main thing that worries me about MAYBANK is that they have done some really, REALLY stupid things recently....and how do I know they won't do so again? hmm.gif

SCUMMY MARINE 2ND Quarter profit up 55%, will that help to push up SCUMMY ? They are independent in KLSE though.. hmm.gif

David, what is ALLCRAP (3297) ? I cant find it on KLCI..
--
Most likely they'll dump the AS1M 1.6B into CIMB/MBB and soon to relist MAXIS brows.gif
--
Sentiment is going bearish again, biggrin.gif
Wholesale Inventories Fall,
BDI Fall,
Report Season is over,

since this month/sept could be the major turning point or what... i just give some posting which i found quite interesting to read

QUOTE
As you can see, the NASDAQ recently hit an RSI of 75. This is the highest reading we've seen in nearly two years. In fact, the last time the NASDAQ had an RSI of 75 was October 10, 2007, right before stocks entered their first major leg down in the Financial Crisis, losing 55% in six months. As soon as I noticed this, I called up Ron Coby, a brilliant portfolio manager based in Medford, Oregon. Ron's one of the smartest guys I know and when it comes to trading short-term moves, he's one of the best in the business. What he had to say completely blew me away. Ron said, "Graham, you won't believe this, but I went back on the NASDAQ and made a note of every time it hit an RSI of 75. EVERY TIME, the market collapsed soon after. And I don't mean a "plain vanilla" correction, I mean a full blown CRASH." Ron then forwarded me the following chart. Suffice to say, I was floored. As you can see, the NASDAQ has hit an RSI of 75 or higher five times in the last 12 years. Every time, the market collapsed soon after with an average drop of -22%. In several cases, stocks suffered a full-blown CRASH. This is a very serious warning for the Bulls. A high RSI doesn't mean that stocks have to CRASH immediately. But it does indicate that the NASDAQ is more than ready for a serious correction. Again, an RSI of 75 or higher has only been hit FIVE times in the last 12 years. Two of those times were at massive historic bubble peaks. The others were all periods in which stocks were simply far too overbought. And ALL FIVE OF THEM PRECEDED SERIOUS CORRECTIONS.

Very interesting post but it would help members evaluate the content of the article better if you pointed out that www.kitco.com is a website that sells GOLD investments and that its primary function is to encourage investors to switch from equities into gold.

Hardly an objective article IMHO hmm.gif

But thank you anyway for the informative post.

Sorry guys, my fault for bringing down the market.

Last week I called in to General Bears. He was awaken now but got diverted to China and HK and Japan.
After ransacking the market there, he took a break in Taiwan because of the typhoon, yeah, his plane was delayed.
But, he didn't forget my call. His 1st battalion managed scored some points at NYSE tonight.

Yes, he and his red army are ready to storm the gate at KLSE. So be ready. biggrin.gif
But, I'll be compassionate and I'll pull the kill switch when the pain is intolerable. tongue.gif
