there are wire mesh with small holes, tiny ones....i dont think they can even try to grab it to bite...

teddy bear hamster is a.k.a syrian hamsters so yeah....got sell....but not all pet shops....

i am not sure about petshop, its better if u can adpot if u want. last time i saw xoxo petshop giving away syrian hamsters for free. i m a syrain owner btw.

they are great hamster, never ever bite me before, great listener(when there is different sound will come out from the house stand & listen). & if got plastic sound he will jump out & stand infront the cage because when i give food always got plastic sound so he thinks got food coming

very tame, & they can grow bigger than winter white

anyone feeding this to their hamster? dosent look as filling as the vitakraft premium. (petsmore sells vitakraft premium?? i saw that day someone says petsmore sells but i would like to know if its premium or dinner? )

oh...hiya i bought vitakraft dinner already anybody want to buy? i sell rm20? havent open lol. or else nvm la...just fed him that & after finish get the usual food hehehe. but thats gonna take a long time lol....i see there is so much food in it wahaha.

babybb thanks for the info. & about your hamster i m not sure, maybe try clean everything, change position & reintroduce them again? maybe they fight because territory reasons?

perhaps just bad mood, u know humans also can have bad mood right . u just monitor them more la for 1 week...if everything is normal then should be ok i guess...

JXplod told me last time can use sand paper, just put sand paper in the cage...didnt actually try it out hehehe....u can take it to the vet....but if its just average long then better wait for a little longer then bring to the vet to cut it. i wouldnt advice you to cut it yourself coz if u missed later something bad might happen to your hamster....better let those experts to do it.

my hamster nails also quite long already...didnt cut....dosent have problems with long nails...infact he can even climb on me (on my cloths) with his nails....lol...like spiderman....maybe if i free need to take to cut his nails too

edit: btw if u want to cut yourself, its better to get the nail cutter for small animals. i think for hamster also got...not so sure, coz its easier to use that....

it happned to me too. i bought dead ones too & my syrian hamster didnt want to eat it. it takes time for them to learn. i always give him to eat, he just smells it & dont bite....then i start giving it with sunflower seed....soon later...he knows that is food so start biting it....& throw away.....but after some time now he bites it & eats....hahaha....now i think he loves it already because of the taste....

so all u can do is keep trying, & try to give with food....slowly your hamster will learn too. hopefully

thats not good....later they hungry & need to drink water how? plus they might need to rest in the warm nice bedding in their house....

i thought before this u leave your hamster at home? how long is few days? shouldnt be a problem la, just make sure bottle is full & have plenty food. open your room door too coz nowdays weather it can be really hot, so the heat wont trap in your room. or what u can do is place the cage to somewhere cooling in your house....just make sure they cannot escape from the cage

hamster pee can stick at the surface one....like got stain....thats y i dont dare to leave my hamster out when i m not there to monitor. hehehe i usually leave him out like for 30mins-1hour. if holiday then a bit longer la....let him also have freedom

actually syrian hamster is normal one...u cannot mix the male & female. at first they will be ok...after they mate already then the female will start fighting again. thats y we dont see people mix syrain hamster often...unless from young is a different case....only a few can mix with without fighting....mostly will end up fighting & if didnt do anything...death might occur....

if there is plenty of food & water should be ok. my room also always very hot in the afternoon, but my hamster is ok. when i come back home usually see him sleeping outside from his house...or under the wheel....at night when i on aircon then he goes into the house with all the bedding cover till cannot see him. i guess they dont really like cold weather & too hot they cant sleep properly...but should survive....mine is syrian hamster la....your i m not sure...but should be the same i guess

u cant actually do anything.....just dont disturb the babies, dont clean the bedding or disturb....make sure there is lots lots of food...& try to place the cage in a good temperature...not too cold & not too hot. & also make sure u dont blast loud loud musics...she might get stress....

last time i saw xoxo pet shop in pet store section giving out syrian hamsters for free....

try searching in the pet store section also....if i m not mistaken last time i came across with someone breading syrian hamster....

edit: also i wouldnt suggest you to get that item that u want....it looks like very open...& see through...most likely your hamster wont sleep in there. try looking for something that is more enclosed....hamster like to hide them self in a dark place....they will sleep & eat in there....try searching for a hamster house. anyway if there isnt proper house he/she might end up sleeping in the tube

i saw last time at a petshop, they was selling a hamster house that is not plastic...made from wood & its very nice...sadly it cost a little extra & quite big in size

i think its at damansara...i m not so sure...i dont really remember...try searching their thread & pm the guy to ask him if he still sells or not. yeah i know...some people even bread syrian hamsters with different types....sometimes i feel like....*sigh*.....i also dont know what to say la.....

anyway i just asked JXplod in facebook, he said his area got sell. shop name is fei aquarium at taman len seng.

well its up to u...depends on the hamster too...some might just use it...some wont....just make sure your cage is big then dont worry much about syrian size....if u own a winter white before, a syrian max also can grow double of a winter white size....

i suggest u to take to vet....i never heard anything like this before
