IMO, since Sukuk 1M don't have any charges when selling, maybe can put existing FD to it. Then if ASW/M issued, withdraw some Sukuk over to ASW/M. Thing is, will sell sukuk be a hassle on that day if were to sell it off in order to purchase ASW/M. blush.gif

I am not sure if this has been mentioned before. Anyway, it is now possible to buy all ASNB funds online via cimbclicks.com.my. However, withdrawal must still be done over the branch.

10. When will S1M 2010 holder receive the proceed from the sales of S1M 2010?
The sales proceed will be credited into the S1M 2010 holder's deposit account with the agent bank not later than *T+2 working days, where *T is the transaction day

Watch closely now when Euro is rumbling.
It may send the whole market down like a
house of card. As I have said it before,
I still stick to my gun. Will the sun set on the Euro?
Keep some cash liquid, and when the market is
really down, like in real low tide
you can choose and pick your jewels.
By then you will understand why
Cash is the KING!

enjoy

I thought invests in government bonds means for lower-risk investment? If the market turns super bad, I guess the returns can still be at least FD rate?
The thing for investment in stock market is high risk, especially for current situation. We don't know if the market is going to bearing for two months, or, nine months. Now is 1280 pt (already dropped 4.5%), some said it may go as low as 800 pt! sweat.gif

You are right. Like you said "... may go as low as 800 points". That's where you come in where you have cash left to play around with. Next is the battle of "GUTS". who knows how low it will go. Your guess? My guess? Anybody's guess? Well, when the tide goes out, pick your jewels on the beach. The return will be far "juicier" than you F.D. rates.

Crap, ASN fell like shjt...i wonder who buys it, its not even worth it...too many downsides, compared to other product like ASW, wats the good thing bout it? The best interest i got from it was during the recession, i put in 3k, get RM700 after recession. After that, no feel. Need to wait for another recession

The only good Amanah Saham is ASB. The others are very risky especially with the current economic condition and the Government's financial situation.

Does anybody know wht is the maximum investment in ASB? Is there a way to apply for an increased limit? I maxed out at RM 255K.
