QUOTE(yccheok @ Mar 23 2010, 11:05 PM) Is its dividend payment date for Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia : 30 September 2010 ? according http://www.asnb.com.my/as1msia.htmIf yes, if I buy now, then half year returns is 6% shocking.gif (assume its returns is near to ASM) Your dividend payout should be prorated for 6 months.... If they announce 6%..then you get prorated of 3%...

Time to refocus the FD for 6 months to AS1M if it's still available.

QUOTE(soul2soul @ Apr 30 2010, 03:47 PM) AS1M finished already. 3pm 30/4/10 , confirmed by another relative also. Now where am I going to put my savings now that AS1M is finished? Should I look at maybank's etiqa or Public Mutual, or keep in FD? Really ? that's sad to hear. Wanted to invest in AS1M

It's really funny concept to be AS1M when there is a race quota hehehe. Still waiting for the good news.
Will Chinese snap up another RM5 billion worth ?

QUOTE(frontierzone @ May 18 2010, 11:21 PM) IMO, since Sukuk 1M don't have any charges when selling, maybe can put existing FD to it. Then if ASW/M issued, withdraw some Sukuk over to ASW/M. Thing is, will sell sukuk be a hassle on that day if were to sell it off in order to purchase ASW/M. 10. When will S1M 2010 holder receive the proceed from the sales of S1M 2010? The sales proceed will be credited into the S1M 2010 holder's deposit account with the agent bank not later than *T+2 working days, where *T is the transaction day

QUOTE(Hansel @ Oct 2 2010, 02:20 PM) For those who are vested, it's not that we can be totally happy and ecstatic too. Who knows what will happen to the fund in future ? Perhaps first year, give a lot, then what about second year onwards ? It's hard to say for this PNB thing, the transparency level is truely low. Rest assure that the yearly dividend will be HIGHER than FD rates...

I thought the 12 months dividend is 6.38% (30 sep 2009 to 30 Sep 2010) Any money deposited (Aug 2009 to 29 Sep 2009) is based on another dividend rate, right ?
