My PS3 M'sia 80 GB hard disk have been confirm to develop problem like bad sector etc because the backup fail when transferring data to external usb hard disk. Does SONY M'sia cover the hard disk for warranty claim?

Do we need to send the whole unit or just the hard disk to claim warranty?

hi guys, my ps3 can't read any format of discs (original only) recently. who is offer the best service on changing PS3 lens in the market? is it worth to repair or buy a new one?

If I were you I would bring it back to Sony and let them replace the lens for you. More reliable IMO. You'll never know where the other shops get their lenses from. I doubt it will be new either.

I wish I could. My console is SG set and has been used almost 2 yrs

u can still try to bring to sony.

cause u are not claiming warranty, but PAYING them to fix

their policy states that no other country units will be accepted for repair even if you are willing to pay. if you are feeling lucky, push them hard enough. who knows they will revise their policy

Depends on how the game is programmed..... I've onli tried with RE5 and it was able to do so..... Other games I dunno coz havn't tried it before..... I suggest u go google it up to c whether AC2 supports this or not.......
