Ok guys. I have a situation here. Psn games in ps3 is tied to the ps3 system or the hdd? lets say if i change my hdd, and then i redownload the games, does the limitation of 5 ps3 still applied or it still considered as the same ps3 download the game. i'm planning to upgrade my hdd and there are few games that i buy using psn sharing, and all the slot has been occupied. can i redownload back the games?

Sorry if you dont understand my writing.

It's tied down to your PS3 system. Has nothing to do with your HDD. You can redownload the games back.

To any sifus here, hope u guys can help me.

I tried many times to update my ps3 firmware to 3.15 but failed (using internet connection option). I can't log in to my PSN unless if I update the firmware.

I downloaded the update file & insert in into my memory card & insert he memory card thru adapter (USB-like) into my PS3.

I try to choose storage media option to update the firmware but it said no update file found.

Then I try to download the update file using PS3 browser. I able to find the page but now it ask me to "connect storage media to at the save destination" before i can download the update file.

My Qs are:

1. How can I view all the content inside the memory card? Not just by media type (image, sound & video).

2. How can I "Connect storage media to at the save destination"

Someone please help me.

If you actually did read the first post of this thread, all your problems would have been solved.
The reason why your PS3 did not detect the firmware file is because you did not put in a correct folder structure.

PS3 > UPDATE > <PS3 update file here>

Thats how the folder structure should be.

And again if you want to view everything on your thumbdrive go to a media tab (music/video) and select your thumbdrive, press Triangle and view all info.
All this has been answered many many times already.

If you handle it with care, it shouldn't deteriorate much, though Blu-ray discs are made to be scratch-resistant, doesn't mean you can't scratch it.

It also depends on the manufacturing process in the factory.

Movie quality will not, as it is in digital form.
Disc quality will deteriorate, as the wear and tear during the reading and handling process

I just bought ps3,so far i only play 4 games.1 is 2nd hand, the rest is new.the thing is,when playing the 2nd hand game,my ps3 will produce a sound(sound like u hear from cpu trying to read disc)but unlike the new game, there is no sound at all.its like the ps3 r putting extra effort to read data from 2nd hand disc.
