Hi guys.. quite new with this forum. I owned Phat PS3 Asian set. Lately i was thinking of changing to Slim PS3.
Since there is many experienced people here, I'm sure I can gather a lot of opinion and thoughts or maybe you can show me any links for me as reference.

I would like to know which one is better ( Phat Vs Slim) in terms of performance, airflow and heating or chances of technical matters will occurs.
Please put aside about the physical nice-look and size things as I don't really concern about that.

Hello everyone.
Look my PS3 sick already. Sometime when I play game, suddenly it will be no sound (gameplay n cuts cene also). Then the sound will appear after 30seconds to 1minute.
But nothing happen when I play BD movies into my PS3.
Could somebody tell me what the problem??

Another issue on me here.

Just now i was playing with Tekken6,
suddenly the game hang, and i pressed the PS button on the controller to quit game.
After that i eject my BD and insert again to continue, and there it goes.
My PS3 cant read the game anymore, and i put one bluray movie to try whether is the game problem or the console.
And the result is the console is the culprit.
Anyone face this issue before?

With a fan the size of the one in the Slim, I don't think thats an issue

Hey folks i seriously need your help on this , i want to buy PS3 Slim this week but i suddenly found out about this NAT thing . I am using P1WIMAX Direct connection but i heard that even you do not have a router connected , the p1 wimax act as a router and gets NAT 3 .

I heard some people on the net are capable of getting NAT 1 or 2 using p1wimax . Also i found out some game console stores in malaysia having NAT 2 using p1 wimax

The question is how do i do that ?

Plug and play for PS3 just like for normal computers. I have a P1 Wimax desktop modem, the one without wi-fi.

So you use P1wimax without the wifi to play PS3 ... what is your NAT ?

No idea about the NAT thing cause I didn't check. It's just plug and play. I don't think you need to worry about that.

No is the most important thing to play online ... If use NAT 3 , you hardly play online.

Then I must not be playing in NAT 3 then because I have played online with other players from other countries in LBP and Demon's Souls.
