mine is Philips 642, it never have sound on back, center, and woofer while playing music cd or vcd.
i actually prefer it cuz the woofer's LFE ruin the feel of the music sometimes.

QUOTE(Drian @ Dec 28 2004, 11:51 AM) Yup exactly like that. have you tried unplug and replug the subwoofer channel to see whether there is difference ? or is it just my DVD player? I unplug/replug the input.. still got sound from subwoofer even when the SW/CE input is not connected (stereo/music cd)

http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/pcm1704.htmlGuess they're using that BB DAC inside the S2000 amp. Not bad.

It's stated right in the page. Where did you see 192KHz sample rate supported? But I guess you are right. The PCM1716 is much cheaper than the 1704. The PCM1716 is much cheaper than the 1704. oops my mistake then, din read the spec sheet coz i remember seeing an surround sound receiver ad dat uses pcm1704 while claiming able to support 192khz signal ... edit: wat does oversampling means ? pcm1704's specsheet claims up to 8x oversampling at 96khz (dat means 768khz ??)
