hmmm, i think wont be pcm1704, coz it can support up to 192khz,
while s2000 decoder's spec is up to 96khz only
my guess is pcm1716

oops my mistake then, din read the spec sheet
coz i remember seeing an surround sound receiver ad dat uses pcm1704 while claiming able to support 192khz signal ...

edit:
wat does oversampling means ? pcm1704's specsheet claims up to 8x oversampling at 96khz (dat means 768khz ??)

If you know how to do soldering, it's pretty easy to build one yourself.

Errr ... I was talking about a switch box, not a splitter . Depending on how you wanna do it, the simplest form of switch box would only require a couple of stereo minijack ports and some wires.

went to the showroom today, and had a short test on M4300 and H260.
really was amazed by M4300, looks gorgeous and sounds sweet.
too bad the H260 isnt burn-in yet ...

Actually no. Especially if price is not concerned.
I can build a surround system using 3 sets of S2000 if I like (and have the money), and get awesome surround sound quality from DVD-A .

Haha. No lah, just to point out a common misconception. Really found that lots of people think that HT and Hifi stuff are different.
