Just update through NSU via pc, but why the firmware still in V21 as before? Is V30 only updateable through FOTA?

My red tube benchmark result, I do not know why it was down clocked to 387Mhz. Some question...

- It is safe to clocked it back up to 432MHz?

- How to OC?

hey guys, do you guys have this encounter? when i reboot my tube, the FRINGS program will pop up and start itself rather than i execute it. so how ah? unsure.gif

Hey guys,

I just downloaded the Killme application... I got error of certificate when try to install it... How do I overcome this problem? Really need this app to work kinda annoying that i have to press the menu button to close programmes one by one...

It's not downclocked, but resources used by background apps. Kill all background/hidden apps and rerun the benchmark. Should yield u around 400Mhz.

U cant clock it back at your will, this is programmed within firmware. Only fools will tell u otherwise. Forget bout OC, 434Mhz is the rated limit of this ARM11 cpu. Regarding the OC via txt file, bloody hoax! It's from N-gage installation folder. Worst, it's not even among the bootup files.

If someone can manage a way to change the clockspeed, the viable way will be via Rompatcher.

This is quite a common problem of the GMXT in tube. I believe this is due to insufficient memory.
The only way u can do is, just browse the map slowly.

A-GPS is ad-hoc basis, but network is continuously connected i.e. use the nokia map to do navigation. Correct me if i m wrong.

hi, to all 5800 users.... is 5800's touch screen not so sensitive?? i mean, will it be hard for us to type sms etc ??

Imo, very responsive even when compared to Omnia (WinMo, resistive) and iPhone/Touch (OS2, OS3, capacitive). Only hate the soft surface of the screen... feel fragile

You have to sign the application with your dev cert. Please read a few pages back. Being posted places to get that.

I dont quite understand, background app uses memory only right? How come it affect processor speed.

Go to Options > Settings > Personalize > Disable auto startup in fring.
