if u use it on ur apsc...it would not very that wide to shoot any landscape...u might need to reconsider if u gonna need wide angle often..or get another UWA to compliment it..

guys...i was thinking about something for awhile...
lets say in those wedding studio or wadever studio..they usually hire a few photographers right..usually the gears(camera/lens/flash) is belong to the photographers???or the studio have a few sets..jsut let their photographers use it.. |

yea..afterall..i think its fair enough to have both practice...depend on the studio itself..
to standardize the equipment does give better control..and just incase 1 of the body/lens broken down...u could have an easy replacement from ur other studio photographers without changing ur shooting style(like each brand have their own style/flow in designing the UI n buttons)... to have own equipment on the other hand...it gives the photographer more freedom to use their own gears which they had familiar with it..and perhaps they would have better sense of responsibility incase anything gone wrong...I.E they cannot blame the company for supplying lousy camera/lens if it breaks down..or produce shitty IQ.... =D |

QUOTE(MemorableStudios @ Aug 5 2009, 01:04 PM) Added on August 5, 2009, 1:08 pm yeah, around same size, i tested it on A200 and view the pictures on a laptop, i find the picture to be sharper + the focusing more accurate & faster than canon 70-200 on EOS50D. I know, coz my buddy is a Canon nut. Use both, this is my personal opinion. Sony lenses are damn good (CZ & G-series), better than the competition. Good trade off for the poor high ISO performance. |

yea..i think 2 bodies for wedding would be very nice..can be each others' backup..and probably i would hook 1 with 2470..another with long prime 135mm or something.. =D so i'd probably keep my a300...maybe just sell my cz1680.. TT_TT

QUOTE(albnok @ Aug 5 2009, 03:54 PM) Braynumb: Sounds like your flash contacts are dirty. Scrub them, instructions here! yea..i know they r big...but didnt expect to be that big~! v1rtual: Niiice! achew: Most 70-200mm F2.8 lenses will be 1.4 kg at least, and all have 77mm filter threads. Yes they are all big. haha...weight/size is just a small issue..im sure i'd more than happy to train my muscle a lil bit to use this great lens....but it seems like its not gonna be a good lens for wedding day/ROM shots...guess i have to rethink about my lenses line up....probably get this lens when im good enough to do prewedding shoot(god i really love 100++mm on portrait)....any suggestion on my line up? |
