back to report..

at last.. my win7 can run games.. everything.. everything is fine.. but the games abit cacat.. vid etc maybe due to the compatible mode..

and for the switching part.. i think there isnt any problem.. for now.. the 4570 is set as the main display.. default display.. when running on battery.. it will switch itself to 3200..

if i wanna switch if manually. a way is by powerxpress or by ATI CCC.. which i set the screen res under the 3200.

but still im going to chg to vista later.

the VIA shud be included in the cd..

of cos this is better.. in terms of graphic.. for processor.. turion still leads.. which this asus comes with athlon oni..

well.. i guess everyone in this thread will say.. k40ab FTW! lolz..

its rm2099 with 320gb HDD..

the pioneer models were rm1999 with 250gh only..

shud be 2099 for the 320gb HD..

i think its always available in any shops in lowyat.. provided they have stock..

Also, i checked my CCC, is it normal for it to show 4 types of display modes? There are 2 HD3200 and 2 HD3470 displays detected.

and the wireless thingy.. jus press Fn+F2. u see the wireless light off. the driver shud be included in the cd. or search in the thread.. something like ATK thingy

if its a 32bit operating system.. the max ram supported will only be 3gb.. for 64bit.. it will display ur additional rams.. so bascially.. u have to install a 64 bit version to utilise the ram..

normally shudnt be.. wouldnt have the problem after u install the drivers.. maybe something went wrong in da installation.. or u could download the driver from this thread.. dunno wad page edi...

wrong thread here bro.. its AB series thread..

and did u just press the power button on the top right corner to shut down??

and if its a yes.. its possible that u have not configure to assign it for shut down.. by default it is sleep mode only.

not sure how often it should be done.. well for my PDA phone.. i do it.. like every 30 charge cycles..

as for lappy.. the capacity is of course alot higher. i dont think it will need much calibration.. when u feel the need of it.. den just do it lor.. i guess maybe once in 5 or 6 months..

and use k10stat to undervolt... it helps alot.. for me.. when idle in a normal room without any cooling fan.. its 57 degrees while on full gaming.. it shoots up to 71 degrees oni.. and u wont feel much the heat.. its all concentrated on the top right corner which u wont touch at all...

and a question here.. anyone tried GTA 4 without lag here??

i dont think its windows problem.. its the driver problem.. just go to the bios and set to dGPU option.. i prefer that.. rather than changing here and there..

tried GTA 4 on windows 7.. doesnt seem too good.. full resolution with lowest detail level.. lags but still playable.. maybe vista will improve.

i think it shouldnt be a problem.. it is just abit longer den 15.4.. da width is da same eh..

i guess any bags which can hold 15.4.. should be able to jold k50 also. hahaa.. im thinking of golla.. rm80 i found.. huhhu..

i think k50ab and 40ab weight doesnt differ much.. and actuallly.. i felt k50 is abit lighter.. the its bigger and the weight is more segregated.. k40ab stuffs all all cramped up makes it feel heavy.. i think both have to same weight..

the FN brightness issue thingy.. i think everyone is facing the problem.. dGPU wont work.. but in xpress mode.. it works.. hahaa.. weird..
