did u change the graphic card mode in bios? to have HD3200.. u have to set it to power xpress. maybe try reinstalling the driver again?

simple thing.. just change to dGPU is da bios.. nothing to worry about.. changing the stuffs is too complicated.. and not easy to make it work.. besides.. theres ntg much if u use 3200 also.. just power savings.. and besides.. changing the thingy.. takes up ur ram..

found shops selling k40ab... 1999 for 320gb version.. 1898 for 250gb version.. in IPOH btw..

hmm.. i think to add rm100 for extra 70gb hdd isnt worth it.. besides.. i dont think the old and new doesnt make a difference.. they should be the same model.. anyone mind checking it out??

kiasu in yik foong selling 250gb k40 rm1898.. and 320gb rm1999... thats so far the best price i see in ipoh.. but i think lowyat sure have better offer..

its most adviced to set it to dGPU.. cos power xpress switching thingy still a problem...

and for the bios flash... for all..

download the bios and extract it..

den boot into bios and start easy flash.. that should be the easiest..

battery consumption isnt that noticeable.. but the main thing is the GPU part.. ppl rather have it smooth running... and besides.. ur gonna be plugged in to do gaming rite?? and tis lappy.. mostly is for gaming.. so.. just dGPU lar..

basically... p0 is ur first core while p1 is ur 2nd core.. for me.. im using 1.0625v for p0... using 1.05v previously but had it tuned up cos with win 7.. had some blue screens.. now its stable for me..

for p1.. 0.9v im using..

just to lower voltage.. to lower the cpu temperature and power consumption...

performance wise.. its not affected..

if set to low voltage.. ur proc might not be able to support.. blue screen will happen immediately..

FYI... the ram is utilised for 667Mhz oni...

wad software... its all up to u.. i wonder why are u asking such question...

IMO.. k40 and k50 weight difference isnt that big.. i'd say they are almost the same weight..

as in the HDD size.. i have not seen 320gb k50ab so far.. but one of the forumers got a hold of it.. and its personally from a seller.. not on public sale..
don think the k50 320gb model is available..

there is another k40ab batch with 320gb HDD.. but NO OS
price may differ with shops..

im using a normal WD 250gb 5400rpm... compared to hitachi.. its faster but abit hotter... and for prolong usage.. i think u can feel i lil bit of heat on the palm rest..

and FYI.. the new batch of k40ab with 320gb doesnt have the spec sticker.. oni the cool thing and ATI sticker with AMD sticker...
