So you mean I don't need to remove the previous driver? Alright thanks
*

orh, u mean the driver ah...

u can use the Win7 beta driver provided by AMD on Vista, it will still work...

but the catch is that u need to ve the original driver from Asus installed first, then AMD's driver will recognize the GPU...

i tried doing so with Catalyst 9.6, but there was a slight problem, i can't untick the option to install CCC, and CCC won't start properly also... i ve yet to try Catalyst 9.7 though...

GT 120M GDDR3 is better than HD4570...

but if GT 120M uses DDR2, it has the same performance level as HD4570 with GDDR3 (eg Dell Studio 15)

the graphic card part, it's equipped with a dedicated graphic card, namely ATi Radeon HD 4570, and an integrated one (aka it's on the motherboard and not a separate card). called ATi Radeon HD 3200...

HD4570 offers more performance, but consumes more power... HD3200 is vice versa...

nah, mobile hardware generates much less heat...

desktop C2D - 65W TDP
mobile C2D - 35W TDP

desktop HD4600 - approx. 60W TDP
mobile HD4600 - abt 20W TDP

TDP = Thermal Design Point = amount of heat emitted by the hardware (more heat = more power consumed)

so as u can see, the problem that leads to overheat is ventilation and heatsink problem... the heat tends to accumulate inside the chasis...
