You'll need KLM or VLC to playback HD clips.

i dun need too high-end spec ler... coz my purpose is to play some online games..but i was hoping for aion online..so hopefully can get one compatible to it lo..

i actually been reading all the post for few days liaw...but no matter how i search only asus with HD4570 stands out lo....but scare later it melts ler while playing...hahahhaa

What make you THINK that it will melt? doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif Even these pentium M that can reach 110'C never have any problem, your laptop would only melt if there are any faulty part inside, like the notorious G8 series timebomb...
But since you have a high budget, you could look at other higher end modal, imho.

Notepad cooler might able to cool down laptop a bit, depend on the ambient temeprature as air-con room would help too. But all of these are INSIGNIFICANT compare to undervolting, you can reduce the temp by 10-20'C, there are a forumer using TIM with undervolting achieve lower then 30'C idle temp.

I am wondering this K40ab and K50ab can uncrew the bottom cover but not void the warranty?

coz TS unscrew the bottom cover and let it wide open to take more cool air, is the warranty still valid?

I think should be still valid, I had call Dell b4 and they told me the warranty still valid even if we change the ram or hdd. I expect the same form Asus biggrin.gif

yes still valid. only invalid for the parts you have changed.

But there is one situation where your notebook spoil results of you upgrading you system by our own that one i'm not sure.
