Yeah, that's the "absolutely free windows 7" program. You don't need to pay shipping for that. Just need to fill in a form provided by the reseller and send it to them along with your proof of purchase and they'll mail it to you.

Not sure how long it takes though. I just mailed mine last Thursday via Poslaju haha.

It's not by HP though. It's by another company which I think HP outsource the operation to. Here are the details given on the form:

got the email for 2/11 shipped Win7 upgrade. So when will it arrive?

Just got my tracking number for my Windows 7..probably it'll arrive in a weeks time!

yesterday i received my windows 7 upgrade pack from sony

very fast delivery, ordered on 25/10 received 2/11

alrdy installed, TWICE , because of sony's crapwares, makes the windows slower

now running on fresh install w/o those craps

I checked Mentor Media Pte Ltd website (Acer Laptop) and it's stated:

Payment status: Pass (payment made)
Payment date: Friday, October 23, 2009

But I had yet to receive any email confirmation on shipping...wired?

Yes, is true... my friend told me that too... i "think" u can delete that folder.
