Hi Leo, I read from your earlier post and knowing you've changed your product code and successfully updated with the latest firmware...

Today, although I am not really keen to change my product code, but I just would like to look at how this NSS thingy works,
so I downloaded NSS, installed... but NSS just failed to detect my phone~! Do you know why?

A little googled seems to shows that NSS not compatible with the latest version of PC Suite and/or NSU, is that true?

I tried download NSS 1.0.38.15, not working for me, then tried also the older 1.0.38.14, still no go~

Can you explain a little more detail on how you do that?

My software detail as below:
Nokia PC Suite v9.23.3.0
Nokia Software Updater v1.7.3en
NSS Error msg: Scan for product... Error!

flashed using phoenix ... i failed the first time, bricked my phone (becos i got too smart) ... after tat i reflashed again and viola!!! u get a new super smooth N97 0576131: RM-505_APAC_MALAYSIA White

Hi Leo, thanks for your reply... and yes, NSS not working for me, or only on my computer~
I've tried so many combination of installation/configuration as describe on the Internet I found from Google~
The only thing I haven't try is to uninstall and clean all latest NSU and PC Suite~ too lazy for that~

But it is absolutely ok, maybe one day I can try install NSS onto another computer and try again~
As I mentioned, I'm not actually trying to change my product code (am too chicken to do that.. ),
just wanted to look at anything (code or numbers) regarding my phone that I've never seen~

By the way, I really did not encounter so many problems like freeze at NOKIA screen, hang when answering call,
system lag etc..., at least not yet after about a month of usage. Maybe the applications they installed causing problem?
So better check them out~
and opps, I'm still at V11 firmware~

the batt cover not fit nicely to the body. when use keyboard type, will feel there is small small gap between the cover n phone. anyone also same?

no a.. my one very tight.. tight until abit hard to remove the battery cover from body.. sometime when removing also scared will tear the whole cover into half.. lol..

hi guys sad news.. myiphone 3gs 32gb just arrived so i wont visit this thread so often anymore.
