are there any keypad cover or sticker for n97?

@ felicious : u need to disable 3G first by going to
Settings>Connectivity>My Network and then if you connect to wifi, it will use the wifi connection by default. if im not mistaken 1 time i opened the browser and it asked me which connection i wanted to use, whether 3g or wifi but the most important thing is u must be connected to wifi first.
im planning to buy the invisible shield, i think will turn into yellow if u dun wipe it everyday.

Comparing phones:
the phone is great, the most important is whether u like the phone or not, its a matter of preference. iphone is nice to use but for me n97 has a cooler design imho.

GarminXT:How to install maps
My phone was preinstalled with GarminXT,
1)i just connect my phone via USB,
2)choose the phone to be mass storage,
3)go into my phone's Garmin Folder and
4)just paste "gmapsupp.img" into the Garmin folder.

gmapsupp.img are the maps and u can get the latest maps for malaysia from here http://malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1657
its updated every 2 weeks.

yea can work, my garmin is already preinstalled..if u see unfamiliar maps means its not malaysia map, u need to download malaysia map like i mentioned in my previous post.

anyone know how to customize my n97 menu? cuz its so crowded in applications i was thinking to create another category in the menu.

and need feedback on invisiblesheild/ body guards or watever on ur phone..i heard its gets sticky ?

hey guys in messages or pictures right how do i mark or unmark them? is there any touch screen action for this or do i need use keyboard?

bro like i said earlier, it depends on ur preference..why dont you go to a phone shop and try out a few phones?
the battery lasts pretty long its 1500mah. touch screen for the interface is very accurate n depends on wat u use cuz some apps dun support touch screen.
about hang..i have not experienced it so far.

hey i found out how, u just press the most bottom left button on ur keypad n just scroll..it will auto mark ur msgs, pictures or etc.
the button has an arrow pointing up and another symbol

u guys know how to install unsigned applications?

can pm me on more details? i cant get the certs n key.

haha applied invisible shield..i redid again with less bubbles. hopefully it will disappear like whats stated in the box in 2-3 days.

by the way, if any of u need the invisible shield spray..i got extra from my previous phone.

yes it does cover the sides. it cover everything except the volume n camera buttons.

hi guys i reinstalled my invisible shield.

i did not use the spray they give. actually u can just use soap water but dilute the soap first.
use a tupperware, fill in with water til 3/4 then add soap into the water slowly and mix it with a spoon or back of a toothbrush
or whatever slowly because you do not want bubbles.
never use detergent or anything too strong. baby shampoo or any light soap/shampoo is fine.

after applying the shield, use your finger to rub all the moisture to the sides for 1 minute or 2, to avoid any bubbles.

Actually can use tapwater but for me soap water makes the sticky side slippery..so u can slide the sticker around and adjust it.

this fella is an authorized dealer, u can even find them listed in the official invisible shield website. www.zagg.com if im not mistaken.

good points:
after install invisible shield, it will have more grip.

bad points:
you cant slide your stylus or finger on the screen easily(due to the improved grip)
expensive

If its possible i would cover just the body, and for the screen i'd use a normal anti fingerprint screen protector so that i can slide my stylus easier.
I dont think anybody would need an ANTI Scratch Screen Protector..Ive been using normal screen protectors for my other phones with no problems and I believe its the same case with the rest of you.

but since ive invested 80 bucks, i might as well just use the IS.

on the other hand if any of you can really be patient and take care of your phone, gettin the anti fingerprint screen protector would be enough.

garmin application got probs a bit, i've experienced a few times hang. maybe u can get an application to force it to shutdown when it hangs.

by the way is there any other way to unlock the phone besides using the keyguard button?

oh lol wtf man. that guy should not have used the rubber thing to press out all the solution when applying the shield. i just used my fingers to even the protector out.

Remember I asked you guys whether there's another way to unlock the phone?
Now i found 2 ways from 2 different applications, 1 using the accelerometer and another Iphone style unlock.
These 2 ways and apps, can Combo to make a perfect lock and unlock.

You need to get these 2 applications, Mykeylock and ThinkChange nUnlock.

If ur carrying your phone around n ur using the 1st app, you might think that flipping the phone around will accidentally unlock the phone, hence now u can combo with the 2nd app to make a perfect lock/unlock combo for the n97.

Just watch the video and you'll get what I mean.
