no different, same as Nokia official distributor in Malaysia.. both units can claim warranty service at any nokia service center..

ic, but just now i try my one also nothing to update, i think for the moment is only available for some product code.. nothing can do, just have to wait..
oh, for those who install garmin, do you found this problem... On the garmin [ where to - addresses - malaysia - spell city - once you key the special charactor - then the garmin hang, if you exit but the satelite icon just remain on the top, have to restart the phone..

no, not like that.. is the firmware already with certain setting that you cannot change or edit, normally like the phone you get free when you sign up a contract.. and is sim lock, cannot use other sim card..

not every custom version must be sim lock, if you see the nokia bear with the vodafone, 3, tim then you will know.. actually nokia for maxis, digi and celcom also have, but not many model..

SAPURA distributionship for Nokia was until 31/07/2009.

I also saw someone in here mentioned, but unconfirmed, every change of product code will be recorded into the chip on the phone.

i think the changed of product code is not an issue for the warranty, cause i have customer form middle east, after bought nokia phone, they will go to NCC to reprogram the firmware with the arabic language. as long as you didn't break the seal / not seriously drop damage / liquid damage then will be accect by NCC..

Omnia HD running on Symbian OS v9.4 Series 60 rel. 5, same as the N97.. for the application should be compatible.. correct me if i'm wrong..

not yet to Omnia HD, install garmin on the Samsung i8510 INNOV8 before, is the same as N95 8GB at that time..
