my cloth are hanging on the wall, in a basket and on the floor. where else. getting a new one soon. or until i can make a proper hot box. which one comes first.
Added on August 6, 2009, 11:18 ami was reading the SOTM on emperor scorpion and found this little bit of interesting data. i qoute "The acidic nature of sphagnum peat retards the decomposition of prey remains thereby; indirectly decreasing the chance of a large scale mite invasion due to an abundant source of nutrition...." "When mite-infested crickets are introduced into the enclosures of captive emperors, mites disperse and mate while; others invade the scorpion as a new transporteur" any takers. i have never used sphaghum moss before. sphagnum moss is wonderful to use although its a bit expensive. I mix them with coco fibers . They smell great too! (at least for me)

Sphagnum moss my favourite substrate, second to only the all time classic cocopeat. I might experiment with a mix similar to yours too Andrew. Any mishaps so far? This post has been edited by rafiqos: Aug 6 2009, 11:47 PM |
