anyone can guide me a good care sheet of Androctonus Mauretanicus???

it is hard to find care sheet about this species on9

Just SAND, burrow, food and VERY LITTLE of water??

If you're asking for a caresheet, you're not ready for an Androctonus. Trust me on that. Why dont you start to play around with some other buthids before getting Androctonus spp?

Hmmm. interesting fact there rideon.

your female also ate her whole brood and died after that.
mine ate most of her brood and died.

is there a link? does anyone had a female that ate her whole brood and died?(focusing on spinifers but other sp are welcome too).

but there is another to it.. after she ate all her brood, i notice there were mites on her. so i took the doctor (you know who) and started on the surgery.. after that when i got her back she was drinking but not eating.. dunno y.. after a week i got her she died.. no aparent reason.. mayb shes streess up or too old already or the fact that she ate all her childrens.. i dunno

forgot to add. i got m y self pinch by a spinifer yesterday and to compare it to a longimanus pinch, the longimanus pinch is much, much painful compared to a spinifer and the pinch time is like endless.

spinifer they just pinch and let go.

so.. spinifer are more kind then longimanus... i presume that logimanus dont let go unless it want to let go..

Some of them already molted to 2nd instar the rest is still waiting.. As you can see, they all still cling to mother..
Enjoy...

interesting.
unless i can get a toxicology report on the chemical make up of a 1 instar scorpion i can really be sure of the reason.

you have said rideon that it had mites infestation after that. i had a maggot infestation on her.

so many variables and so many question s but no answer.

the more i ponder the more questions keeps popping up.

yes rideon. longimanus tends to pinch like the ketam nipah. i forgot the english or hokkien name for it. they wont let go until

a: they are tired
b. you give their legs something to stand on

rideon, your scorpling are moving around. mine still on clinging on the mother. this is weird since yours gave birth later then mine.

picture time. and no it is not the dead female.
