the female is loaded and ready for action again

Added on July 26, 2009, 11:47 pmwow .. never know it can produce such gd macro ...
my 4mp sux ... lol everytime macro shot blur blur one ...
I think its a Lychas Mucronatus instead
U can see the coloration on the carapace and the pincher (Patella)
L.Mucronatus tend to have a dark triangle mark on the carapace like H.Arizonensis
But that's just me, if u wan a proper ID u should ask ppl in scorpforum or rafiqos

btw where is the camera thread ???
Nice find really, but make sure dun over harvest
If u think they wont do well in that area maybe u can get a pair and try breeding them and release it elsewhere where it wont screw up the eco system in that area

well hey, you can be proud to find the species in you own back yard.
faster id it properly and see if it is a Isometrus Maculatus or not.

i've look into your query on the cameras and it seems that the best cameras (compact that is) that take great macro shots are from Canon. not biased or anything because i prefer Nikon DSLR to Canons.
I actually dun mind if u post something related to scorp and spoiler the off topic chat liddat
