which means I can choose between iData and iValue?

I felt like iData more worth.
Coz i am sick in online,
nice treads

i don't quite get what you mean. both iValue and iData will give you data bundle each month. and to choose between both plans, that gotta depend on your current monthly usage (calls, SMS, data).

@jfoong:
your current plan is VP80 and usage will cost up to RM100+, if you were to opt for iValue 155, do u utilize that much of free calls? and SMS charges will cost extra. you might save more on the phone but in the long run, you might be paying extra on your bills which does not justify your usage.

i think VP80 + iData 50 is a better option. or even VP50 + iData 50. you get to enjoy same calls rates, SMS usage included and most of all, cheaper monthly bills. and you get to save on the iPhone 3GS as well. smile.gif

@kaizen57:
does that RM100 penalty to current new subscribers (3G/3GS) or just the ol' 3G ones?

2. after the 1 year contract, you're free to subscribe to any plans or keep your current one.

thats why i want to make a complaint to Maxis.That is a Maxis MEP...... it should sell with fix price. the promoter told my fren RM2490 is for foreigner only mad.gif  vmad.gif
*
this matter should be brought directly to Maxis. that's pure straight misinformation. and i think you should confront the MEP with the official price plans taken off Maxis website.

This is a final and stern warning:

NO chitty-chatty posts, discussions on booking, changing of plans ("can i change my plans before collecting???"), collection et cetera which is NOT RELATED to rate plans in any way. anymore posts regarding that in this thread (which is meant for rate plans discussions ONLY), will be deleted without further warning/notice. no more posts-moving.

-- Added by tinkerbel --
Please take note this thread is for discussions of rate plans and not meant to discuss pick up / collection of i3GS. Any such posts will be nuked immediately.

Also, please stop speculating whether there's sufficient i3GS to go around - we don't want this place to be too cluttered with nonsense.

jackhammer84 has confirmed that you will need to bring the principal owner as well for the collection. confirmation letter = confirmation email.

@abubin:
no. i'm not. please refrain from posting any sort of chitty-chat post. appreciate your cooperation.

nahh. it's not out of topic. appreciate your effort. thanks for the info. smile.gif

@RevoWithin:
have you booked and paid for your booking previously? yes, the changing of plans can be done on the spot at Maxis centres. however, if you have not booked/paid for your booking, i'm afraid you're unable to obtain the phone tomorrow.

if you had, then just proceed to changing the plans tomorrow during the collection.

Can I Subscribe Value First (RM30), then subscribe a 24 months Idata with maxis ?
*
i don't think so. iData is only valid for VP50, 80, 150, 250, 500. and for supplementary lines under VP Family 40, 50 and Family Plus 30, 50.

@D.Sync:
you can choose to if you want. i assume it's a prepaid? what tinkerbel is saying is you can use your current prepaid sim and sign up for Hotlink Youth Club (if you're under 25). details below (more in the first page):

QUOTE
Prepaid users
1. You would still want to enjoy 500mb of data bundle every month for a year (without being contracted), get the iPhone under Hotlink plans.
> Get the Hotlink Youth Club simpack at RM8.80 if you're under 25 and you'll get 4 years validity (with minimum top up of RM10 per year) or
> Get a normal Hotlink simpack, subscribe to Hotlink 365 (maintain prepaid line validity for a year) for:
Subscription is RM33 (one time) + RM30 (min top-up within 1st 6 months) = RM63
**Both will ensure your prepaid line will be valid 24/7 to receive the 500mb data bundle!

newly revised iValue plans from Maxis has been updated on the first page.

- now with free SMS & MMS to Maxis users
- free calls and SMS is now valid for iValue subscribers with Family Plus supplementary lines.
- 0% interest easy payment plans are now available from Maxis (valid for iValue plans ONLY)

CAQ sections will be updated shortly to reflect the newly available information.

keep this thread clean from any discussions regarding booking and collection. thank you.

@avars:
you're required to pay prepayment fees for your bill according to the iValue plan you're subscribing to.

eg. iValue 1, 12 months contract, prepayment of RM200.
RM200 / 5 months = RM40

RM40 will be credited each month into your bill. thus, you will only need to pay RM60 for the first 5 months, rather than RM100 each month originally. (assuming you stay within the given free calls & SMS)

should be peak and off-peak hours. domestic calls means it cover calls made to any mobile network or landline (yes, Maxis and non-Maxis). the T&C remain unchanged from the previous one. smile.gif

QUOTE(^prion^ @ Jul 31 2009, 06:49 PM)
thanks @teikwing.

Then which of the supplementary line can i add to this?
Value Plus Family or Family Plus 30?

Correct me if i'm wrong, if i get the new iValue plan, plus the supplementary, then my monthly bill will be rm130...n i can get free calls n sms between family. The bundled free 333 min, 100 sms and 10 mms is applicable for all maxis and non-maxis is it?

thanks
*
@^prion^:
i'm not too sure about that but i guess both? the only difference between both are the call rates as you can see from http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/pl...icing/index.asp

yes, the bolded statement is correct. but the free SMS/MMS is only applicable for SMS/MMS sent to Maxis users, IINM. smile.gif
