200 credit limit means that the maximum you can use in 1 bill cycle. you can increase it by calling 123 or going to maxis centre. and if you want to check how much you have used for your current bill cycle, you choose the unbilled amount and that will answer your question. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

IMHO, if given the chance, i'd rather stick with your current Digi plan and then get a iphone without contract. if you see the above post, the ivalue plans are not really like the value plus plans where your monthly commitment covers everything.

having a data plan is the key to a wonderful iphone experience, and with your unlimited data plan, im sure you'll enjoy every moment of it.

if you were to convert your digi plan to the maxis ivalue plan, then you'll be matching it with the ivalue100. but take note on the above post, if you read the T&C carefully, the call minutes is strictly for domestic calls only. and etc etc.

but yet again, it all boils down to how much data and calls you'll be using. if the ivalue plans are sufficient for you, then yeah go ahead with it so that you can get the iphone at a cheaper price.

just to share my experience with you. my gf is on the ivalue 100, and i have to teach her to be careful with all the data usage etc as we can see in the data usage thread where ppl get billed crazy amounts for the data usage without knowing. have to turn off EDGE, 3G, use fakeapn, etc etc just to be srue u dont exceed.

as for me, im on unlimited data plan from maxis due to the corporate plan and i just leave everything on. push notification, etc etc. no worries. you'll be amazed how much of bandwidth i use a day on the iphone tongue.gif

so yeah, it all boils down to how you're gonna use the phone.

p/s: how come ur paying rm66 for unlimited data? i thought digi's unlimited data is going at rm58/month and for the first 12 months you get rm10 rebate. making it one of the most attractive and cheapest data plan. if my corporate plan expires and maxis is not giving me unlimited data anymore i'm definitely gonna jump ship to digi.

my package is totally different from the ivalue plans. my monthly commitment is rm150. unlimited data is free.

so i can use up all rm150 for calls, be it domestic, international, outer space, and also for MMS, SMS, etc etc. similiar to the normal maxis value plus plan where your commitment covers everything.

ivalue plan is different. the monthly commitment is only for voice (domestic) + data. any sms to outside of maxis is chargable. any international calls is chargable. it doesn't deduct from your talktime minutes. so even if you don't exceed your talktime and data, but if you made an international call of rm20. your bill will be ivalue plan + rm20.

unfortunately, the only way to get a cheap brand new 3gs in malaysia is through maxis together with their ivalue/idata plans.

or perhaps, from singapore?

> I've just bought a used Maxis iPhone 3G/3GS. What do I need to do when I wanted to send in my phone to Maxis for warranty?
- To claim warranty you need the person who bought the iPhone which is under his/her name to be present. Requires I/C (of original owner) and warranty card.
*UPDATE: According to a personnel from Machines, having the Warranty Service Card is suffice for warranty purpose.(credits to tinkerbel)

Are you sure we just need the warranty service card?

well bro you can get it in maxis...if 16gb you can get it with contract and about out right purchase im not sure for 16 but 32 is there...by installment you can pay through your credit card by the 0% installment plan such as maybank and other card stated in maxis website...but i have heard that in case you have other bank which doesn't give the installment plan for maxis...you can try call them and arranging manually for installment plan..most credit card provide these service... icon_rolleyes.gif

I converted from RM66 to RM58. I was told that RM58 is not really unlimited, it is cap at max 3GB per month ( http://www.digi.com.my/internet/3g/pricing_58.html )

As for RM66, its unlimited. However once u ported to RM58 there is no way u can port back to RM66 since it is no longer available.

For me 3GB per month is more than enough, i am currently using about 100+ mb per month as most of the time on Wifi.

you're right about the 3GB part. but it's still unlimited. when you exceed 3GB, they will cap you at EDGE instead, but you can still use unlimited amount of data. anyways this is not the right place to be discussing about digi's data plan.
