@sanzo86,
Yes that is right, the existing available units (if any) are meant for those who pre-booked and have yet to make collection biggrin.gif

@terencetoo,
Yes.. iPhone warranties are limited to local warranties hence if U purchase the phone from SG U haf to go back to SG to claim warranty.

well, singtel is definitely much more cheaper, but as i said previously, due to the extra 300sgd i need to fork out for termination fees

whereas by sigining up maxis, i do not need to sign the rm 99 data usage, as the rm 155 plan, has 1gb of data usage included, hence i still save from my monthly charges

but my BIL would be signing up with singtel, most prolly he will get it for free, as he can still use his wife name to sign up for another line, so envy sad.gif

ouch... just call up my fren
seems tat singtel is extending the promo to this month end
no need termination fee at all sad.gif

sigh... i just paid the 200 to maxis liao, shit

Can I assume that Maxis won't face the situation that Singtel is facing now where those pre-ordered who paid SGD50 can't get the iPhone during the launch? Do you think Maxis will be out of stock of 3GS for those who have paid RM200 next Friday?

@shdwkillr,
There might be a possibility unles they control it v well; as in if there's 10,000 units, they only take 10k pre orders.

Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed on collection day. Hopefully there won't be so many enthusiasts here in JB compared to KL. If ur going on Monday, hope they don't repeat the same thing happened in SG!!!

And I don't think the confirmation e-mail is "super needed" as some of us didn't get it. Make sure u got the reference no.

Can you share with us what happen when Singtel launch the 3GS ?? blink.gif

Well they ran out of stocks!!!! But those that pre-ordered were given priorities to collect it and while those walks-ins (without any pre-ordered) were limited to get it on launch day. Some were even turned away... But I think it's ok right now.

Well, it's not ok right now as those pre-ordered during the launch have yet to get their 3GS, that's the reason that I am getting my 3GS from Maxis this Friday then..

@k3v1n
Singtel still on the process to deliver the pre-orders. As of today they calling those pre-orders on 14th July and 15th of July expected to start soon.

So I dont see the chances to get it by simply walk-in, at least not for this few weeks.
