QUOTE(jayjenxi @ Sep 25 2009, 12:38 PM) Same thing happened to me man. And there was a long queue. I had to wait until my turn to get the queue number before they told me that they were out of stocks! Wrote in a complaint and got a call saying they have stocks reserved just for me the 2 days after I sent in the complain. I guess gotta make noise to get things done right. I also mentioned in my email that they should put a sign to inform us that the phone is out of stock so people won't have to queue for so long before they know the phone is out of stock. When I went to collect my phone last weekend, I noticed that they put up a sign with a BIG picture of iphone and tiny words saying "out of stock". >.> it's not out of stocks for all. Priorities is giving to corporate users. Most of my colleagues got theirs within 1 week, delivered to the company. I got mine in 4 days ...

@Jasonjinct, The iPhone handset is the same; both are officially unlocked and usable with any SIM cards.
As to the App Store, the Singapore app store is the Singapore app store and the MY app store is the MY app store. Am not sure if you're allowed to use a MY CC in the SG app store.

Actually, what the different between Malaysia AppStore, and Singapore AppStore? I have a Singapore iPod Touch, and my Maybank Debit Card able to use at the appStore.

@Jasonjinct, Apps are generally skewed towards country specific so there may be some apps available in the Singapore store meant for Singapore users which aren't available on other stores and vice versa.

@Jasonjinct, Always purchase the iPhone in the country where you live, that way you have 1 year warranty Added on November 21, 2009, 7:51 pm@FoxAss, You have the weigh the pros and cons and then make the decision. As you've put it, the AU set will not be warrantied if and when you get back to SG. If it's not too troublesome, Y don't u just get the official SG sets? @Taneesha, Y can't U just ask here and who are you posting that request to?
