yea...16GB white iPhone is out of stock and I'm back with empty hand
decide to wait as they still will honour me the early upgrade fee + $100 discount + $30 acce voc. not rushing into getting the GS ------------------- saw 1 uncle collecting his iphone as well. the most headache part was, he keep asking the staff how to do this and that with the phone. nowadays, ppl really buying something that they themselve dun ever know what they buying. QUOTE(mONSTers @ Jul 13 2009, 07:05 PM) Hmm, seems like I can make the conclusion that Singtel really failed this time.. what is the purpose that they asked pre-orderer to make a reservation with SGD50 deposit and in the end not even securing a phone for them..Well.. |

Did they extend the date for u? Coz all those who preordered are allowed to collect their phones by end of July with the same benefit. |

@mONSTers,
Er.. so U didn't get the unit U reserved for but SingTel will honour the discounts and freebies when new stocks come in? Hmm.... other units available or everything out of stock? So, when's the expected date of replenishment? |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jul 14 2009, 01:12 AM) @mONSTers, Singtel extended to those that preordered at their website ($50 was charged to their accs for the preorder, I think) to collect their phones by the end of the month....Er.. so U didn't get the unit U reserved for but SingTel will honour the discounts and freebies when new stocks come in? @jonest
yup. I just make sure they keep the launch discount/freebies to me by taking down the remark into their system. @tink yup. only 16GB white not avaiable. They asking me wether wanna change to 16GB black or 32GB white. they cant really sure when the replenish stock will arrive, but maybe around 2 weeks to month. Singtel actually very flexible in some way, i means even after i get my phone after july, but they do able to waive the $50 preorder fee if it's due to the stock shortage. So im really no worry about it. But, my hunger for GS getting lesser day by day, maybe i'll stick with my i3g and let my gf take up my reservation slot. still considering. |

@rx330, jonest, tink
yea...especially after playing with the demo unit yesterday, it's really just another i3g. faster? yes. and the integrated compass is quite useful, at least for me as im relying quite a lot of on the map (im person with no sense of direction but as my data plan contract will end august, and currently no data plan (50GB) as cheap as that so choosing the iflexi (500MB) will save me $10 each month. my monthly usage is around 200-300MB. still got time to think while waiting for the stock to arrive. |

@mONSTers,
Ah well... I don't use the compass much, in fact I'm under utilising my phone; if only I could export the Compass app to U If U want reasons NOT to buy the i3Gs I can give u several. But if U want reasons to get it, I too can give U several. Just let me know which side of the fence U want me to sit on @jonest, Er.. U don't need convincing because U oredi sold ur 2G awaiting for the i3GS. My question was meant for mONSTers |

haha, i knew the reason for not upgrading to GS. so give me more reasons to upgrade to GS p/s: i dun play games. i got 3 pages of game apps on my i3g but the chances to tap on them is merely <10% camera? don't need, i got my DSLR. Video? hmm, maybe 5% usage? This post has been edited by mONSTers: Jul 14 2009, 01:22 PM |
