QUOTE(eric138 @ Sep 5 2009, 03:10 PM) Yup I only got her to eat one.QUOTE(Lawrence93 @ Sep 5 2009, 03:58 PM) any one knows any website or personal seller selling 8in1 Ultra Blended hedgehog food as i saw eric's comment , saying tat cases of crystals = ( . and any1 know how to litter train hedgehog if tats possible or there is other way = ) You know, the pet keepers in the US don't really like 8 in 1. They call it crap food. For hedgehog food it is not of a good grade.Added on September 5, 2009, 4:32 pmWOW PET SHACK has everything but the shipping fee is not cheap = ( , i wonders pet wonderland do sell bedding , 8 in 1 food , earthbath for hedgies |

I read quite a lot review regards the 8in1 ultra blended food when it's first introduced in the market.
I would not say it's the best hedgie diet but at least it's slightly better than you feeding cat kibbles only. Hedgie diet kibbles is not as hard as cat kibbles. And look at the nutritional analysis, generally it suits for hedgehog. This is the only hedgie diet we can found here. Mixing it with a good quality cat kibbles did provide a more balanced diet. I do hope there will be more types of hedgie kibbles available here, so we can hav more choices. |

at the moment i don't think we'll be able to find manufactured food specifically meant for hedgehogs here in malaysia except for 8-in-1. it's the closest possible diet for the pet though at the moment, hedgehogs have a tendency to take RC34 but to be honest although i'm feeding it as well, i do not like the high fat %, plus the kibbles themselves are already very oily. i prefer to feed RC32, but few of the hedgehogs i have would rather starve than eating these, or when combined with other they usually finish up the rest and leave the RC32 kibbles untouched.
talk about picky eaters... This post has been edited by livingmonolith: Sep 6 2009, 12:32 AM |

QUOTE(zecks @ Sep 14 2009, 03:35 AM) may i ask if any hedgie owners know about the lisencing of having hedgehogs? Its quite a new thing and I need to know where to obtain it too having hedgehog as a pet in Malaysia is considered legal.. therefore there is no need 4 u to obtain any kind of license unless u r in singapore or any country that consider hedgehog is exotic and protected |
