whiskas is not a good brand, the kibbles quality is kinda low.

You believe a pet shop who keeps a few hedgie in a small tank? And look at other pets in the shop, almost 95% of the animals have been mistreated.

yupe...whiskas is big no no for hedgie. In fact, for cat itself, many truely cat lovers are against whiskas or friskies. Can u imagine hedgie's stomatch and digestion system is more more sensitive compared than cat and it's known that whiskas are nt gud for cat, hw bout hedgie...it contains crap and ofcourse coloring chemical...becareful, if u wan our hedgie lives longer please provide the best and do research...their live is much much shorter compare to us..why dont we give all the best for them?? am i rite?? smile.gif

Last sat, i talked to Dr Jenny regarding the increasing cases of hedgie having crystal and died lately. She said probably the crystal comes from the cat kibbles. And, she advise those who only feed cat kibbles better mix feeding with the 8in1 Ultra Blended since this is the only hedgie kibbles we can found in the market.

Another issue is the phosphorus consumption. A lot ppl feeding too much mealies and cat kibble itself does not provide high calc.. Therefore, if you r not giving any cal supplement or coated the mealies with cal powder, your hedgie is on high phos diet for long period...

harder version of toothpaste.

anyway, good to know that you're prepared for it, at least there's one less thing to worry about.

some owners manage to toilet-train their hedgehogs, it's hard but not impossible. but i think it's safe to say that once the hedgehog realize where is its sleeping area they'll keep that portion in enclosure clean from faeces.

Hi everyone

Meet No name yet. I haven't thought of a name yet cause nothing seems good enough :\

And her blankie.

She's been settling down, eating well. Sometimes I hand feed her and I managed to sneak in a mealworm disguised as a kibble.

Trying her to get more into insects. Since they are insectivores in the first place :3

If u buy 150 or above, petshack offer free shipment.

I think for the postage fee issue, u should refer to POS MALAYSIA..because they set the rate.. tongue.gif

I don think anyone has it here.

Healthy food? Try to achieve a more balance diet, not jus feeding cat kibbles and mealies.
