alright!!
Solid stuff, should be around 5.5k then!!
now, dunno whether itchy to wait for V10 series or not ... hehehe

maybe have a look at the panel first ... if its a good panel, i don't see why not just take it ... after all S10 to V10 is still 2k saved i guess smile.gif
for digital cinema colour gamut, one-sheet-glass front, THX ... hmmm...

50 inch Full HD plasma ... finally!!!

Added on June 30, 2009, 5:37 pmoh, ok, i guess higher than 5.5k, have to find one to see how it looks like.

Daryl, what we got here is totally different than the US. Don't even bother comparing with them.

Why not? When 42S10k came out 42X10k was barely 2 months old. I bet it's still up to the respond on the current latest model.

Wondering if 60inch S or G or whatever series will be sold here. I saw Pana made the biggest plasma 103 inch.. even on display in Best dengki sometime ago, but never really sold commercially here. If pana bring 60ich fullhd plasma priced below 10K, that would be interesting.
Anybody know? tq

very cheap. Good to hear that it is reasonable. So, we can really confirm that the G would be dead.

Not many would buy a 42 G when you can buy a 50 inch S?

Currently, i'm 40pv80 - 7 months onwer, 90-95% mainly used it for Astro, no point upgrade now even it go belowe 5K. if Astro HD now then it's worth to get the 50 inch S.

true. for most msians, all this plasma and lcd stuff is all crap if Astro still remains analogue. Most people go home and get a shock at the crap quality of the picture.

those who still swear that they get very good picture with Astro, obviously has not gone overseas and seen what true digital TV is on flat panels.

I don't think we need to fly oversea just to see how good is HD video. In fact my LCD tv at the moment is 95% HD contents only.

Added on July 1, 2009, 4:22 pmAnyway, when I look at the spec on the pana website, it states that the panel used is "G12 Progressive Full-HD Plasma Display Panel".

I try google it and it shows up that it is a Neopdp panel. So can someone confirm that?
