bro..not only movies, video in general.  As you have heard some review about the x10k color, they mentioned is natural while some forum members here mentioned the new s10k borders on a bit of oversaturation of the green.  I believes it has something to do with the anti glare coatings on the glass.  Anti reflective coating is expensive stuff, and look at the vast area of glass the need to coat!

thats is the reason why some plasma is Sooooo...expensive...KURO anyone?

One thing surprising from 2 pro reviews is that the TX-P50S10's image is not as sharp or details as one would like.  That is strange considering the fact that this is a Full HD screen.

Kuro 428XG,  I can notice immediately it was not a 1366x768 panel let alone full-hd panel from normal shop display viewing. so how to say it's sharp resolution to begin with??

G also not selling well, how to sell Z and V?

I think in Msia, only the X and S laku.

for plasmas, its only Pana, Pioneer and Samsung, now Pioneer dead, so, its only Pana or Samsung.

for lcd, its Samsung, Sharp or Sony. Since Samsung makes Sony's panel, so, its only Samsung or Sharp.

All the others, no point talking. Might as well buy Akira.

i have an old 42 inch Hitachi, it was and is one of the worst plasmas ever.

May I know the model? I calibrated a Hitachi Plasma lately and it had miserable black levels.

Looks like the 50S10 is not getting the buzz like the 50X10.  Is it because the 50S10 is not that good?  Even the new Samsung plasma seems to out perform the pana plasma. 

Did Pana cut too much corner on the newer plasma?  Most reviewer say the picture on the new full hd plasma from pana looks soft and less details as compare to the some other better tv.  Colors is off too and screen reflection is very bad.  Some claims the screen looks dull and dim as compare to lcd.

What do you guys think?

My recommendation to people who are looking to buy plasma tv....check out the Samsung plasma as the have better picture and colors according to members new.  I didn't know Pana actually screw up the new plasma so bad.  Don't get me wrong, they still look great, but there are better one.

after reading about de problem lightning69 is having..i begin looking at an old thread..ironically started by lightning69 himself..50S10 vs 50B650..those who provided inputs to tat thread did suggest tat B650 out performs the S10..with IR as its major setback..

Lightning69 himself now suggested tat perhaps he shud've gone de korean way so the conclusion?S10 vs B650 still hard to answer..build quality & reliability is also a big question mark with the B650..many ppl not 'trusting' de korean brand thos they hv come a long way..

normally to prevent burning & IR we burn i the tv right? With image burn in disc..i read tat with the B650 it wont settle even after 600hours of burning in..is tat true?if so what's de alternative? I watch lots of astro & most channels got permanent logo on corners..if i watch like full day surely will be a problem right..

just out of curiousity..what tv is anfieldude using?unless its Kuro 9G then mayb we can buy the exact same model he's got..then surely no problem
