I used to use Bridgestone 021s, but have changed to use Continental Sport Attack because of my riding style. Having tried both, I'd say the Continental's are better wink.gif

Sorry to split hairs... bike noob here.. what if you don't get a chance to see the packaging? would it be imprinted somewhere on the tyre itself?

Dear friend, it's unfortunate that you had that experience. First and foremost, i would like to ask you whether you do still have the tire that you claim will crack, bengkak and shake after the tire has been punctured. I'm attached with the factory of this company and we will definitely honor any claims if there is a manufacturer defect. After all, our tires are Sirim approved and if we do not honor the manufacturing defect, you are always welcomed to make a report with the Consumer Association.

I can assure you that a punctured tire will not crack, blister and swing at the same time. That is totally impossible as the tire structure doesn't permit it to happen. Hard for me to explain the full details as it's very complicated. As far as quality issues is concerned, i will let Sirim be the judge of that and not dwell on it. If a tire doesn't meet a particular standard, Sirim will not approve it.

On your statement of motor workshops saying our tires are of bad quality and not claiming the tires for you are just simple marketing tactics of them to sell you a different brand of tires or product so that they can make more money. Maybe they are now pushing a different brand ? Nobody knows and neither can i say nor blame them.

But one very strong statement that you have posted in your reply is that you claimed that our tires cheated you and request us as a factory not to cheat anymore. Please be known that if you in fact have evidence that we have cheated you in anyways, please do proof it to us by contacting me personally and we will take the necessary action to rectify the problem.  But if you do not have any proof of what you claim, i hope you will be smart enough to not bad mouth us as we do take defamation very seriously and will not hesitate to take legal action.

Oh by the way, if you do have proof of your claim, i sincerely do advise you to report the problem to the Consumer Association before contacting me so that you will be protecting your claim.

lewatmalam,

Who Are You? You Want TO SUE me?! vmad.gif I really would like to know who you really are? are you from the factory? My case are 6 months ago. do you think I am sohai.. keep your tayar untill now? I use to be Farrelli supporter.. my group of friends all use F1800! .. BUT, never actually heard of the SIRIM!

Every good product will take responsibility on their own defects and suggestions from the public! We are the user, we know what products is good and no good. If you got the time and plan to sue me for bad mouthing Farrelli.. Why don't you go survey the market... Even the most famous motorshop in the market also never sell your tayar!?

you think your product can improve without hearing complains from the market?

I think you misinterpreted my reply to you. I did in fact ask you whether you have the tire with you so that we can check your claims. You can also check with the necessary authorities about our Sirim approval. If you had such an bad experience using our tires 6 months ago, why did you not bring up the matter to the consumer association in which is your right as the consumer.

To answer your question on whether i'm from the factory, yes i am. If our tires are so bad and of bad quality that your so called MOST FAMOUS MOTORSHOP IN THE MARKET even doesn't sell our tires, then we wouldn't be in business today won't we.

We do listen to our consumers and feedback from our customers and find out where the fault is at. We are not the number tire in Malaysia, but we're one of the strong contenders nationwide.

I shall not dwell in this matter with you as it will never come to a solution. If you do want to make a formal complaint with the consumer association, you are most welcomed. If you want to make statements that defame our brand of tires, please do it formally so that we can settle any disputes you have with our tires in the grown up manner and not disturb this thread where there are clearly people who have used our tires and praising them.

First and foremost on your attached photo of your report :

- There is not one word stating that the tire that you have purchased and deemed to be defective is Farrelli,
- There is also no statement of which Motorcycle Shop you bought the tires from in which TTPM will need to know,
- Lastly, you did state that the other Motorcycle Shop that you claimed to have brought your UNKNOWN tire to said that the UNKNOWN tires lifespan has expired and kept for a long time at the Motorcycle shop you bought the tire from before being sold to you.

If this is indeed the case, ponder on a similar scenario :

You buy a bottle of milk from a sundry shop and drink it. You end up having severe food poisoning. Do you actually go look for the factory who package the milk who sold to their distributors onwards to the sundry shop or take up a case with the sundry shop ?

Please do bring up proper facts before posting something that is totally irrelevant. This thread has been started a year ago but both you and mohammend just joined Lowyat.net this month and have never posted anything in the any of the forum threads apart from this thread. Anyways it has been really entertaining sparring with you guys. It has brought me much joy and also shown the others in this forum what your posting was all about. You can flame and do whatever you want in this thread but it will not affect the sales and marketing of our brand. In fact, it brings more publicity for us too.

lewatmalam,

first of all, I don't really know who is rockeribrahim. But, somehow I would like to thank rockeribrahim for the shout out.

Well, so this thread has been started a year ago.. I don't even to bother about that, I have just noticed it not long ago. And after seeing all this.. I thought that I have found a place for me to FxxK! Farrelli..

Somehow I feel sad, to hear that this thread is only for the Farrelli's Fan to praise and brought up Farrelli but not listening to the public complains.

Conclusion, your tayar is the best in Malaysia, and is not permitted for the user to complain. lewatmalam, hahahah... please don't deceive oneself.

Since this thread is to praise and compliments for Farrelli tayar. Ok.
I hope for the coming in forum user, please give more compliments to Farrelli.. as this thread is officially for Farrelli's Fans and is not permitted for all the complains or else you will get sue! ahahahaha : )

I am going to try Farelli next round... this would be one of the things I hope can beli buatan malaysia.

Hate to see Thailand made products dominate our local market, and all our hard earned money goes overseas... Michelin, Duro, Maxxis...

I'll try Farelli, IRC, FKR and maybe more. Long live local tayar...

Actually it's not the Thailand market dominating the market now, it's the China market. Anyways JKJR and JPJ are having an ongoing roadshow to educate the public on using tires with either Sirim or E standard. They will start taking action in October. So do make sure you choose tires that have the approved standard to avoid problems with the enforcement. And do remember that Farrelli tires are Sirim Approved so you're sure the quality and standard is there.

Farelli is hard to find in Georgetown, Penang. Do you have any recommended bengkel?

Managed to find one, and I replaced my rear tire with F1000, and my friend a set of F1000 in Pulau Tikus bengkel. Date code 0510 to 0910, quite new tires.

We went to spare part shops around Komtar, but none of them carries it. They had FKR, IRC Gold, and many Dunlop TT100... price point of Farelli is RM10 below IRC.

Was considering TT100 tubeless, but this also very rare here...

Bro, i'll get you few of our dealers in Georgetown latest by Monday evening. Our salespeople normally do not concentrate on spare parts shop. Our main concern are the motorcycle repair shops.

I have been using many brands of tyres.

I like the grip of Dunlop TT900, I can really taking low laps with confidence. Its grip is amazing in hot weather/surface.
Yet, it is slippery in rainy/wet surface.

After TT900, I use Farelli F1800. In my opinion, I didn't like the way the tyre react to change in direction.
Cant get my low cornering pleasure. Haven't use it really long, change to other tyres.
Nonetheless, I think the tyre performs normally in normal riding condition.

Now, i'm using Unilli racing tyre. It is my first time using this tyre, and i'm very happy with it.
Superb grip in both dry and wet road. It turns out accordingly with my motion, and get the 'layan' corner feeling.
