F1800 is TT Sotong thread pattern and F900 is TT900 thread pattern. The better grip will be F1800.

Any of you guys in Ipoh wanna change to Farrelli tires can go to their centre in Silbin Roundabout. Their doing a promo now. Each Tubeless tire, FREE Black Oil. They also having Sport Rims promotion now.

Outside of Ipoh and want Farrellis, PM me wink.gif

Heard Farelli F1000 tyre before? It cost RM 80.00. I haven't change yet. Just ask one of my regular repair motorbike shop.

Is there a different F1800, F900 and F1000?

Farrelli tires are 100% Malaysian made tires. They have been in the market for quite some time. Their tires are also "Pancit Boleh Jalan", the only TRUE tire that is with this technology that is certified by Sirim.

I guess you were quoted RM 80 for a tubeless 80/90x17 tire right ? Where are you located ? I might be able to help you get it for less.

To answer your question about the difference of F1000, F900 and F1800; it all bores down to thread pattern actually. F1000 is similar to Dunlop's TT100 while F900 is similar to Dunlop's TT900. F1800 is a mixture of 2 thread patterns being TT Sotong.

so, generally combination of 2 threads is better? last time i was thinking to change to F1800 when the shop recommended me but in the end i chose TT900 as it's the stock tyre for Wave 125 which i thought it'll last long on it?

Actually the F1800 is one of the better thread patterns out there for grip. TT900 cannot compare to Farrelli tires as their not Pancit Boleh Jalan. If you're looking for the same thread pattern as TT900, you can choose F900 from Farrelli.

Thanks for the reply lewatmalam. Yes, the boss quote me RM 80 for a tubeless 80/90X17 (Farrelli F1000). Right now my wave100R rear tyre going to finish the thread after 2 years using it. It is a TT900 Dunlop. Very good tyre i must said. But want to try other brand tyre and found out this farrelli tyre from rikilee blog F1800 and said it is very good and some more 'Pancit Boleh Jalan'. That's why attracted me. Unfortunately the shop boss don't have thus recommended me F1000 but I said don't want. I asked him to look for me, but i doubt that.

I'm located at Puchong nearby the army camp and bintang supermarket area. Do you know where to get F1800 tyre?

Appreciate your help.

Great to hear from you mate. Many people who have used Farrelli tires will always feel the difference and will continue to use them as their actually much more better quality than the other leading brands. Furthermore, Farrelli tires are SIRIM certified. There are only 4 SIRIM certified tires and they are Dunlop, FKR, Farrelli and Michi-yama. Only Dunlop, Farrelli and Michi-yama are Malaysian made.

Always use Farrelli Heady Duty Tubes or Butyl Tubes as their one of the best in the market too.

sport rim comes in 1 set, 1 set around RM130 last time, now not sure, 1 piece tubeless tire around RM40-RM60 depends on quality. and u have to buy a nut which cost around RM2-RM4 depends on quality as well. the nut u better buy expensive 1. My personal experience is i used tubeless for more than 3 years now, never gone puncture b4. only problem is the nut gone leaking if use the cheap 1.

Want to ask, what to look out for when purchasing sport rim? from my understanding sport rims can be seriously damaged or crack when ride hard like hitting a pothole or speed bumps at considerable speed. also is it true that sport rim can make the handling more difficult (heavy)?

oh yes, what brand of sport rim do you guys recommend. I currently ride a honda wave 100.

Tubeless tire can be installed on spoked rim but you will need to use an inner tube.
