both using same size of oil tank, so shud be same.the only difference is 1.6 finish up the tank faster.

he is asking..1.3 needs that much for the petrol, so 1.6 needs or nor?and im saying, they sharing same tank size.thats all.1.6 might drain more as more combustion occurs.

Added on July 13, 2009, 2:26 pmand finish up tank faster, means more FC ka?i din say so..it juz simply sips the petrol faster.its 1.6, so directly, they shud be sipping more for greater combustion. i din relate anything to FC either.

you are right too.. smile.gif

why do you get so uptight bro? chill man chill...anyhow, 1.6l might not neccessarily drain more petrol due to its combustion but how heavy the car is..anyhow you are right when you mention finish up tank fast means more FC..usually that's the case isn't it...anyhow with my little "project" now i realised that mechanical drag is also a factor of fuel consumption...ok la that's a bit off topic!!

chill lax bro...we are here to share knowledge and if i didnt answer his questions correctly, you can comment on my answer politely...i appreciate your feedback so much more when you comment politely.. smile.gif

anyhow, i hope both of us has answered his question and gave him more knowledge smile.gif....the power of knowledge is very the powderful...

off topic sikit...wah now version dunno what edi my name still not on the owner list...i've been in since v1 and skipped abit here and there...sigh...

i din express any hard feeling either.juz pointing out i din even mention anything about FC.sipping more petrol is juz my only point.juz that even it sips more, it might go further more than a 1.3, so FC is totally a different segment there.

however, its still a question mark.i believe the combustion for 1.6 is alot more than 1.3, hence i truly believe the pickup is more powerful, although it relates more unto the weight and power ratio too. its a tough question.so limiting it down to juz about petrol, 1.6 might drain more as its a larger CC engine, obviously.

hmm..regarding ur name in the list. being a TS is very hasty work.and updating the list as well is a hardwork.it will be kind for u to tell us ur spec and colour. I'm juz a TS for the current and previous thread, so ur cooperation is indeed required if u wanna add ur name in.meantime i did not miss any members who voice up to add them in the list all this while.

try polishing it out first bro...if it doesnt work then only try re-spraying it...

just got my BLM dyno-ed the other... 1300cc auto only pushing out roughly 60ps...will update you guys once i get my dyno again tomorrow as I've done a "little" project for my car (not your usual change extractor or air filter)..now my car is more responsive and the acceleration has definitely improved..the rpm is also slightly lower while doing 100km/h..hope to see a better fc with my auto blm!
*
i dont think polishing would work... seems like some part of the paint is already scrapped off.. deep scar..

dont forget to share your project when u got your new dyno result.. smile.gif

i definitely will bro...in fact to be honest, a few versions back there was a guy in here asking for a strut bar to be installed on a blm for free but there were not much takers then..i am proud to say i was the first few guys in malaysia to have a strut bar installed in my saga since last year...and i got it done for free... smile.gif

now what i'm doing is also a prototype for all my fellow blm-ers..if this one jalan, i'm sure most of you will enjoy this project i'm doing right now..

Mind to tell how old is your car??
Anyway due to our BLM use new colour code, or else we can buy the auto touch-up paint and DIY. Cost about RM20-25.
So only can wait and see when they release new colour code.
*
My car is just 2 and a half weeks old. cry.gif cry.gif
Yea, not sure if there's metallic touch up paint for DIY. If not, then i can save this baby.

well a friend of mine who is an engineer said that usually a mechanical drag causes 25% loss in power when it reaches the tyre and when its an auto tranny , reduce another 20% after deducting the initial 25% loss...

So, the calculation should be:-

70kW = 95ps
95ps*0.75= 71.25ps
71.25ps*0.8=57ps

I had around 60 ps from my stock 1.3l engine...tomorrow i'll be going in for another round of dyno after installing my stuff...will upload the charts soon.. smile.gif

well its a prototype item right now therefore its inconvenient for me to share until my engineer friend is comfortable for me to release more info on it...

smile.gif anyhow, this item that i have in my car right now improves my respond and also acceleration, and my engine feels lighter..it's not a 4-2-1 extractor btw nor air filter nor etc..

let me get the dyno first bros...smile.gif

Does this include all cars ? Means even manual also only 70hp actually in reality due to loss of power?
