hey guys,i tried saga blm 1.3 auto a few months ago and i found that the oil and brake paddle design concept are totally dangerous for a new user...cause when i drive it i found that the brake paddle are too high and once i accidentally cant step it...but for those who drive in a long term would find it normal...any new user who find it difficult to cope with??and the power are lag too when it changes the gear...
*
i find it dangerous too. like couldnt find my way to the brake pedal fast enough in case of emergency. too high and too narrow. im still not used to it. have to resort to engine braking at times.

i would reserve my comments on this.. in the event of wira 1.3 vs 1.5, i think the 1.5 actually have better FC though both had the same gearbox and ratio..
The gearbox is different in both BLM 1.3 and 1.6. the BLM 1.6 will be using the same gearbox as Persona, made by Mitsubishi.. we'll see how it performs when more buyer receives the car..

i wanna know the market price of the 195/50/r15 tyres, 1 piece brapa? for those common, normal, acceptable brands la..uncle biasa buy 1.

Use Dunlop D01. RM 150-160 per piece. better than those silverstone...IMHO that is. not that expert in cars. just my feelings after using both in my Satria. BLM...mine still those 14" Goodyear....thinking of swapping BLM & Satria in near future.

dear all blm owners,

i'm getting a blm m-line auto soon. but cant decide which is the best colour. i like black colour (for future car make-up). but my brother n dad recommend me to book the silver colour as it will not absorb too much heat than black/dark colour.

my older bro drive a black myvi so he recomended based on his experience. silver is also a nice-looking colour but silver BLMs are too common on the road already. aaahhhh!!! i'm in deep dilemma right now.

thanks all 4 replying

@Man-kun, its entirely up to you. Yes black attracts heat and also dust easily, but the shine is really nice. Silver is the overall recommended color as it doesnt attract heat or dust as easily as black. However, if you tint your car properly, black should have no issues. If you don't tint it properly, prepare to get roasted under hot sun.

@Man-kun
it is nice...haha
but to prevent heat...install good tint...not those RM400+ one
there will be a layer already installed by proton one...i recommend u remove it and install a better one....
dust...cannot help...cuz modern black colour all attract dust very easily...even toyota car

@theanswer
if they say that...mean it's the SC problem...they didn't check the car properly be4 give to u
and they didn't even fix your wiring and they say that
talk more than action
just ask them to fix the wiring the ok already...i think it's the "relay" problem....sot already..won't stop

thanks all... up to now, maybe i should stick with black colour. just need to save some money for a good tint.

but i read from another thread that tint just reduce the heat for a short time only (max.30 min). longer than that the heat will burn ur a$$ too smile.gif even my friend's silver civic(07) tinted with v-kool and leather/PU seat is damn hot when parked under hot sun

thks sir nazri. hospital staffs like to buy this colour (as told by the SalesAgent). but its hard to keep a white car for me. i saw a black BLM at duke. fitted with black bodykits and "3-stand with a 3rd brake light" spoiler. its nice too. i'm saving my money for that upgrade

haloo izglory,
is it hot to drive long distance with a black car? TQ

last few month touch-up a paint chip like that cost me rm100 (average quality) at kepong area. the paint shops at batu cave/gombak are expensive. they quote me double for minor touch up like that. quality wise, batu caves shops win smile.gif

C'mon just get black, it looks badass. lol.
Heat huh..after u get into your car for 10mins with the aircond on, u wont feel hot anymore. I got used to it the first day i drive. Its not an issue for me though.
Anyway, any other touch up paint around Cheras area? I still can feel my baby's pain.

There a lot of shop in Cheras, but just how the quality of work. Will cost around RM100-150.

My friend just leave it lah, as your car is black some more, not even noticeable. My car yesterday being bang by 1 uncle, & cause my front bumper some scratch & my car is blue colour, very visible.
KL car always will have more scratches in the future. Better save the money then 1 time paint the whole car.

i beg to differ as most of the time FC depends on a few variables, and the variable that people usually overlook is power-to-weight ratio...i reckon with a 1.6 engine the car will have a better ratio thus saving more fuel. however, tyre wear, weather etc effects fc too so i reckon what kevin613 said is the best for now

try polishing it out first bro...if it doesnt work then only try re-spraying it...

just got my BLM dyno-ed the other... 1300cc auto only pushing out roughly 60ps...will update you guys once i get my dyno again tomorrow as I've done a "little" project for my car (not your usual change extractor or air filter)..now my car is more responsive and the acceleration has definitely improved..the rpm is also slightly lower while doing 100km/h..hope to see a better fc with my auto blm!

Mind to tell how old is your car??
Anyway due to our BLM use new colour code, or else we can buy the auto touch-up paint and DIY. Cost about RM20-25.
So only can wait and see when they release new colour code.
