Hey there everyone! Actually i have a few problems/questions regarding PTPTN. Different people tell me different stuff. Im now all confused as i dont know who's right and all. And i scared my application will be rejected. Perhaps you guys can help me out?
1) I've enrolled in TUC and wanted to do 2+2 course (UK). But when i receive the letter of acceptance(LOA), it's stated 4yrs degree course. Then i asked my consultant who helped me in registeration earlier. Me : Why isn't it 2+2 degree course that i want to do. I do not intend to do 4yrs here. Consultant : It's stated 4yrs in your LOA because we have to put the name of the course in general. Me : . . . . okaaayyyy. . . . So i go on, i went to apply online. Then i stumbled upon NAMA PROGRAM. There are 2 options for me to put here, one is '2+2(UK)' , another one is '4years course in TUC' I checked the booklet of guideline for PTPTN. They say, NAMA PROGRAM : AS STATED IN LOA. i was like uh-oh! So i called the TUC, asking them what i should put. They say '2+2(UK)' as is THAT is what i wanna do. I followed. So guys, did i do the right thing? Im really scared that they would reject me as the program in LOA & online application is different(same course, but diff in terms of Duration Of Program) 2) Where/How can i get the 'Borang Pengesahan Pendapatan' ?? 3) About certified documents. they say if government servant(high school) do it is better than taylors chop for u. is it true?? |

QUOTE(Ryu_Liew @ Jan 27 2010, 01:26 AM) hi there...jz wanted 2 find out how long will it usually take 2 complete the registration as well as getting the approval from ptptn??thx!! there are two parts in registration:1--online registration->depend on internet speed and the network traffic of ptptn website. ->last time i apply online registration, it took me a few times (several days) to complete it. ->the longest period i waited for the website to reply to my request is two hours++. ->duno whether ptptn has improved this or not. 2--submitting the form of online registration ->depend on ptptn when to go to ur IPT to collect the document. Usually a month after the registration close. ->the ptptn officer then will come to ur U and make collection.(3 days) about the approval, as i recalled, last time i waited about one month or so, then i check my cimb acc, got RM3500 already, means ptptn already approve and bank in the money to my acc. However, this situation may be differ from different U. Depend on ur luck. |

May I know that I got RM49,500 for 6 semesters, is it take the RM49,500 to divide 6, which means each semester I can get RM8,250?

Hello everyone, I have a few questions here,
I'm currently a TARC diploma student, going to finish my diploma soon. 1. If I were to continue my advance diploma in TARC, and I intend to continue borrow PTPTN for my advance diploma, what should I do? 2. If i were to continue a degree in another university, and I intent to continue borrow PTPTN for my degree, what should I do? As I've heard from people saying things like have to do something like extend the paying period, something like that. Please enlighten me. TQ |

Jitstuck -for TUC students refer to Cik Nazihah, she knows best. Your LOA is 4 years because you're no more birmingham student you're taylors student but taylors have MOU with birmingham due to relationships before, thats why they allow transfer but higher %65 if nt mistaken, a 2:1(you can transfer to other uni with that result also but depends on the uni if they want to accept you or not) ....but dunno why they nvr update ptptn.
PTPTN gives you 10+ years to repay but if you're continuing studies I believe that you can have a penagguhan to your previous loan payment. This is what I know you can tangguh PTPTN until you get a full time job(part time-depends you want to pay or nt). But i remember reading somewhere on ptptn website that you can add on and borrow if you want to continue say degree or masters and I believe you should call them or check their website on this. |
