hu has this situation before . can share the experience

I don't think you can do this because you've already declared in the agreement the amount loaned to you kan?
So, it's not possible I believe.

Sorry if I was mistaken.

I dun think this is possible , as wat u doing here is like demanding how much u want to borrow , so ,u can imagine how many ppl borrowing ptptn , if everyone act like u .... however, try to fail ur exam , then u can skip the ptptn for next sem drool.gif kidding oni

Are you anti government? I've heard from some of my friends saying, not to pay PTPTN back as to show their protests.
As for me?
A loan is a loan. Others need PTPTN too.

this is the best part of the news article:

To meet the needs of a generation of IT-savvy tertiary students, PTPTN also gives the flexibility to check their account balances through by sending and receiving My SMS 15888.

It gives the borrower an accurate and fast way to check the balance anywhere using the mobile phone.

“The network is very extensive. But because of some people’s attitudes, we still have defaulters. Then we have to follow the normal legal procedures,” Yunos said in an interview.

For defaulters, they would receive three notices if they do not pay their PTPTN loans for three consecutive months.

“If there is no action taken after the 3rd reminder, we will send a legal notice of demand.

“The notice will be sent by our panel of lawyers. When we file the summons, we are basically withdrawing all existing contract, which means that the entire loan amount is due.

“It means they have breached the original contract. Simultaneously, we will put their names into the Immigration Department’s blacklist database to forbid them from travelling.

“If you can travel, what does it mean? It means you have money,” he said.

oh man..ur words turns out somehow to be sumtin like selfish. u already graduated, using ptptn money and rite now u dun wanna pay.think bout future generation man..

u pay what u borrow.if ur fren dun wanna pay, then u suppose to tell them to do so.
bcoz of ppl who reluctant to pay back their loan juz like u,
others suffer from late ptptn disbursement.

dun be selfish when others need it the most. mayb u r rich, lots of money but ppl who need it
suffer from late payment. buying books, fees n to eat,its not easy to depend only from parent.

ppl like u should think before u say sumtin man.dun be ridiculous.

"not even 10%" even tho its not even 10%, they still pay what they use.
dun juz giving us (who pay back the loan) a bad name - not paying ptptn juz like u.

yes,peacee

Yeah this is life. That's why we have the thing called consideration.
Try put yourself into other people's shoes. Sendiri rasa baru taula..

Now it's not your problem, so you don't mind. Peace icon_rolleyes.gif

It is normal to think of ourselves FIRST before thinking about others.

It might be excusable in situations where we are fighting for survival below the poverty line for food, shelter, clothings but you have internet access which puts you in the top 30% of the world population ?

Can you survive without 'others' ? What if everyone thinks like you ?

What if you end up as a CEO of a manufacturing company and has to decide if you should spend money to reduce pollution from your factories ?

What if you are the owner of a express bus and decide not to maintain it properly e.g. the brakes to have higher profit ? Who the heck cares about accidents. Right ?

Lucky you.. I only got kadar yuran before, RM1050 per sem.

the fee for my program is RM1265 per sem.
I think ptptn give credit based on student need.

*

there are a lot of student making loan with ptptn and don't/late payback, but how do u know that its less than 10%?
have u been doing the statistical data about this?
i SEE/HEARD those of my frens that din payback, getting themselves with handcuffs by police and go to police station.
one of my roomates faced this problem. He always talking about "Jangan tak bayar balik wit ptptn, nanti kene masuk balai...."

the loan is not durian jatuh from the sky.
its the tax payers' money(i know including ur parents, but still ur parents' tax only take up, like 0.00001% of all malaysian).
pls be grateful and think "trice" before u said anything.

peace
