According to PTPTN website, you can check the result of you application starting three days after the application deadline.

About the certified documents, only those who got the loan need to pass up.

That means 3 days after today, check your result. Then, if you got it, go into uni and pass up all the doc. After that, wait for the money. Finally, go get your money and spend it.
*
however, the docs are not pass to U. there are certain dates for PTPTN representative to come to each U in Malaysia to collect the docs.

add:
the closing date for 2nd batch is 19th, now its already 25th. i just checked my application for 2nd batch, they said still in progress.

one more thing to ask. when the application approved, applicant need to print out certain docs from PTPTn website. does anyone knows who shud sign those docs?are those docs needed to be certified?

I have done this. What I did was print out the "borang batal dan tolak" from the website here http://www.ptptn.gov.my/web/guest/borang2
Fill it in then you sent it to the states address. Contact your college ptptn representative to ask if they have updated your status and you can start paying them. Well that was what i did.  laugh.gif

1) Yes.
2) After u cancel the loan. you have to pay back the amount they have given u so far + administration charges in 2 months time. Or you can ask PTPTN to delay the payment until u graduate. There is another form for this. For the time being, after u submit the cancellation form, u should wait for the confimation letter from PTPTN and then fill up the other form which will delay the payment. To know more about how to pay back the money, u can refer to the PTPTN website.
3) I am not sure about this. Have to ask some seniors.

Btw, I am also a JPA Scholar like you and I am in the process of cancelling my PTPTN loan. At the moment, I am waiting for the confirmation letter from PTPTN.

Just go to PTPTN One Stop Center at level 2 KL sentral..
Been there, done canceling my loan, because I got other sponsorship, and to get that sponsorship, i need to cancel any current sponsorship and show "Surat Pelepasan" or "release letter" from PTPTN (correct translation or not?)
must go to KL sentral do cancel the loan?
cannot do it at U's HEP?
The surat pelepasan is for what?is it the same as borang batal n tolak on ptptn website?

plus:i dun wan to delay the payment, can i pay back after i cancel the loan?

*
for PTPTN loan is available now already.but this is the 1st batch only, got 2 more batch.
there's always 3 batch for students to apply for loan each time PTPTN open the application.
this info i got from my U's HEP

JPA will open the application on mid of the year if i'm not mistaken.

hello, how do i apply for loan?

if my results aren't good, any other else can i do to boost the application?
*
goto ptptn website n check. there shud be plenty info there.
ptptn loan doesnt need gud result for application.
so far for me and my frens, those who are bad in results nvr do anything to "boost" the chances to get loan from ptptn.
we just applied and get the loan.

i would like to ask a few questions regarding bout ptptn loan here.. (hopefully here's the right thread?)

1. my father is retired and not a government servant. should i just empty from gaji kasar all the way to no. ahli kwsp?
and is there any documents that i need to prepare?

2. if necessary, can i buy another pin to daftar a new online form, then just ignore the previous one?

that's all at the moment. thanks and appreciate for any help.
*
same situation as i was. just fill RM0 or dash at the gaji column.
for me i just get the Borang Pengesahan Pendapatan and fill it up, faked my own parent signature, give to my lecturer and sign it. then submit
the next month after approval, i get RM3500.

u can buy as much pin as u like and apply new application as much as you like.

hi there...jz wanted 2 find out how long will it usually take 2 complete the registration as well as getting the approval from ptptn??thx!!
*
there are two parts in registration:
1--online registration->depend on internet speed and the network traffic of ptptn website.
->last time i apply online registration, it took me a few times (several days) to complete it.
->the longest period i waited for the website to reply to my request is two hours++.
->duno whether ptptn has improved this or not.
2--submitting the form of online registration
->depend on ptptn when to go to ur IPT to collect the document. Usually a month after the registration close.
->the ptptn officer then will come to ur U and make collection.(3 days)

about the approval, as i recalled, last time i waited about one month or so, then i check my cimb acc, got RM3500 already, means ptptn already approve and bank in the money to my acc. However, this situation may be differ from different U. Depend on ur luck.

Lucky you.. I only got kadar yuran before, RM1050 per sem.
Total received for 4 years was RM8400.
*
the fee for my program is RM1265 per sem.
I think ptptn give credit based on student need.

I clicked "Daftar" after filling in all my details in the website. But the website doesn't move. When i press "padam", it empties all my details. Only that stupid fkin daftar button cannot click.

Anyone knows why? I tried the 2nd link alraedy same result
*
its because of the ptptn website network traffic.
as i mentioned before, put some patient when u registering on ptptn website.

yeah well if u dun pay u can't go out of malaysia but so far most of my fren graduated ard year 08 who borrowed the loan since 2005 still can go in n out of malaysia like nobody business.

they never paid a single cent back to government yet
o come on.. go ask ard and see how many ppl actually return ptptn money. i think not even 10%. IMO those money are what we deserved. i dun wanna go into further details.

peace out guys
*
there are a lot of student making loan with ptptn and don't/late payback, but how do u know that its less than 10%?
have u been doing the statistical data about this?
i SEE/HEARD those of my frens that din payback, getting themselves with handcuffs by police and go to police station.
one of my roomates faced this problem. He always talking about "Jangan tak bayar balik wit ptptn, nanti kene masuk balai...."

the loan is not durian jatuh from the sky.
its the tax payers' money(i know including ur parents, but still ur parents' tax only take up, like 0.00001% of all malaysian).
pls be grateful and think "trice" before u said anything.

peace
