QUOTE(bluewhaleram @ Dec 2 2019, 10:27 AM) Guys i have a question Let say that i jsut finished my degree this year june . And i asked about my PTPTN need to start repayment in 2021 . If now i start paying but like RM100 per month then stopped for 2-3month in the middle , will it affect my CtoS score for bad repayment credit ? I'm not sure about CtoS, but your payment record won't show up in your ccris at all even if you pay, because you're not obliged to pay YET. The only plus thing is, it reduces the amount that the interest is calculated. The interest is calculated using the amount owed at the start of the repayment. Then you can call and ask how much you'll need to pay monthly at the start of your repayment.

QUOTE(LKY_94 @ Jan 8 2020, 06:58 PM) May I know that boost take how long to reflect the transaction on you ptptn account and how much it charge for ptptn payment Depends. For this month, it takes about a week plus or so. I usually don't check it and just wait for the email. Previous months are faster, less than a week and I got the email already. But for this month, seems to take a lil longer. About 10 days or so.

QUOTE(miwol @ Apr 4 2020, 02:02 PM) Hi, I've been paying PTPTN for almost a year now using JomPay and would like to try to pay using Boost. What are the advantages of paying using Boost? I am not familiar with the app. Thanks. Hi, you get coins in boost which are exchangeable for cash. How many base coins you get depends on your level, and you might get extra coins depending on luck. I do it with boost cuz there's a 'mission' that I can activate every month: pay RM200 to ptptn and get Rm3.50 back. There's a RM1 charge for paying via boost, similar to other systems.

QUOTE(qzsalphidopm @ Apr 15 2020, 05:29 PM) hi guys, sorry newbie here, need to ask how to pay PTPTN using Boost app? im not sure what to put in the PTPTN account number, is it "No Pinjaman" in PTPTN portal ? or we just put in our own IC number? Thank you in advance. Read a few post up. The answer is in the same page. #3363 QUOTE(miwol @ Apr 19 2020, 12:33 PM) Just wondering, do you guys repay the loan during MCO/PKP? (for those who paying manually) Since they are halting the repayment until 30th September and will restructuring the payment schedule after its over. Yeah, I continue repaying mine cuz I saw the interest still get charged, so I assume that there will be restructuring of the payment after September. Don't think it'll change that much, but I don't really like changes, so I continue paying haha.

QUOTE(tadashi987 @ May 4 2020, 11:35 PM) i saw the deferment amount is adding up when comes to October, PTPTN will restructure this and show the new monthly payable amount again? would it be the same amount as previous monthly repayment installment? (my previously monthly repayment is RM330) sorry dont quite understand how this defermend works  As what I understand, the restructuring will happen in October and you will know the new monthly amount, which will be higher than your current repayment amount. The deferment amount adds up cuz it works the same way as other loans, and interest will continue to be charged. There is not interest break, just that you will not be penalised i.e not recorded on your CCRIS, but you are still obliged to pay for the owed amount; either by paying now, or when they restructure your payment in October. In terms of charging interest/interest calculation on the 6 months deferment amount, that, I am not too sure how to calculate. Correct me if I'm wrong. But your picture is quite interesting. The amount there is 2*RM330. Mine just shows the interest charged for May, and not the monthly repayment amount. I paid for April. Maybe its good to give PTPTN a call to clarify? QUOTE(ChaNzy @ May 7 2020, 11:35 PM) I am still paying an amount higher than the intended amount. Any further news on the restructuring? I am not able to find any information via my search online. No news on restructuring, but I wouldn't be surprised if the restructing would be the same as normal ptptn restructuring, as in method of counting interest on the 6 months of no payment and monthly installment. I found the FAQ on ptptn website about restructuring (in general).
