@finecut,
If U don't manage to book urs before the closing of the pre-orders U'll just have to wait till those who pre-ordered get theirs before U can get urs |

@finecut,
If Maxis brings in enough stocks and there are leftovers after all those who preordered have collected their units, I'm sure they will open it to walk-ins. Then, it'll be on first come first serve basis. As to duration, it can't be estimated. |

@royle,
U can try to do a walk-in 'pre-order'. If they need verification, U could always give you dad a call. Also, get him to authorise U to make collection so U don't have to drag him with U to make the collection. @shunt, The other option for instalment plans is to go through your Credit Card. Different CCs have different instalment plans. I know for sure American Express Gold Credit Card is offering 0% interest on instalment plans from now till December 2009. |

@Hollow,
In choosing the right plan for urself, ask urself what you want the phone to do for U and of course it'll be good if U know what your usage is like. |

@Jacky96136,
Collection date remains for 31/7 and U aren't able to go in to pick it up any earlier. @nokia2003, What's the name of that app? Will it work for Maxis users too or it's specifically meant for Optus users only?! |

@rmvalues,
The Maxis sets are officially unlocked sets hence does not need further unlocking. You will also be able to use it with any SIMs. Please check out pinned threads on i3GS & FW 3.0 for more information. @ricky1990, I totally agree with ah1, I think it's uncool of your friend to do that, seriously! @jfarm86, I don't think Maxis will mind but if there's a queue for that time slot U will not be given a preference. @nokia2003, iiQuota? hMm.... well it looks pretty cool - perhaps we could get one of our M'sian developers to try developing something like this but it will need data from Maxis and that's gonna be difficult to obtain. Also, the stewpid telco of mine (read:Maxis) doesn't reveal how much data I'm using p/month. @realfcbstuff, If an upgrade is coming for those who previously purchased the i3G, it probably won't be until after the i3GS launch. Also, U shouldn't be comparing with other telcos. |

@nitsujyuen,
Act I think he meant it's reasonable lah. I was just teasing @ah1, Yes that is right hence I've no intentions of getting it @soonwai, Er.. I thought the HKD sets are more expensive?! *shrugs* I did a rough calculation before and it came up to RM4k+ This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jul 21 2009, 04:23 PM |

@twinkles,
If U can get GST rebate on the AU sets, the 32GB is A$945 x 2.85 = RM2693.25 hence that makes the AU units cheaper than our Msian sets. At the normal price of A$1040 X 2.85 = RM2964 hence it's still cheaper but it's not considerately cheaper |

@nitsujyuen,
Yes but that's sort off expected, isn't it?! Anyhow, let's not discuss about prices here since it's out of our hands @janson_kaniaz, Yes.. that's definitely a wise thing This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jul 21 2009, 04:32 PM |

@Jerm_vii,
It's 500MB p/month for 12 months. Unutilised data will not be allowed to be brought forward to following month. Please refer to T&C #6 which denotes it's 500MB p/month. |

@tony9973,
Yes normal. So now all U need to do is sit and wait till the 31/7 and then go pick up ur phone. U can try to go a bit earlier but I think everyone will be clammering to get their phones *smiles* Haf fun with the queue @zad78, Ah well.. it's just an extra 2 days wait - U weren't hoping to be like the #1 person to get the phone anyways, unlike those Singaporeans in their custom t-shirts This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jul 21 2009, 04:53 PM |

I learnt from long before never to trust people to get things done cause most people don't even know what they're doing |

@shahir,
The phone will be activated using the Hotlink SIM. After that, U can put in whatever SIM U wish to put in. There's no need to be too concerned about the iPhone 3GS turning pink. It'll go away when U wipe it with alcohol; but do take note the heat issue is there but apparently the pinkness only comes because third party casing blocks ventilation. @bluesky87, U can make a request to Maxis to get your usage; I've put in a request but it's taking forever. The other way is to check with your phones settings; some say it's not accurate if U've JB-ed your phone but otherwise it will be fine. @ah1, Data usage is NOT available on the Maxis website either. @ah1, I believe they got the information on the system; but perhaps not been aligned to their billing system cause anything U use out of your paid plan, U do get to know how much usage (in kb) u've used. If they can provide that information, I don't see Y they can't provide the total usage information to us and that it needs to be requested *shrugs* |
