@arthurlim89,
I can't comment much because I never studied the Maxis plans in the past. I wouldn't want to lock myself with them because their plans aren't cheap + what's the point of signing a 2 year contract with them when knowingly Apple releases new iPhones on an annual basis?!

@jonest,
There's no upgrade plan at the moment but there's a trade-in plan biggrin.gif My Maxis insider told me to trade in my i3G for RM1.5k and then spend another 1.5k for a brand new i3G tongue.gif

@sinyc,
Us Malaysians aren't as kiasu so I'm sure it's not going to be much as compared to what SingTel did tongue.gif

@jonest,
I'm interested to find out the information but I'm not going to pre-order because I've no intentions to purchase hence they better not take my RM50 ! tongue.gif And if they do that, they need to make sure it's stated clearly when we register. Nothing of that sort was written.

@xandman,
Ah well.. aren't U getting urs tomorrow? tongue.gif Also, I don't think the Maxis pricing will be better than the AU pricing unless AUD starts skyrocketting!

@teddylife,
No instalment plans been announced and the best person is to check with Maxis, not here. Any information on Maxis rate plans are available http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1091499 so please check it out there instead of posting here.

@manchurr,
Eh.. can stop spamming ah?! tongue.gif Read up the information and don't take this forum as a chit chat conversation lah - nanti davidgary73 no need to do anything else but just sit here and delete/merge posts saje tongue.gif

@Protoss-Zealot,
Please read the rate plans properly. The RM1990 is for those who's signing up under the iValue1 plan!

@fansoption,
Eh sorry ah?! tongue.gif Yeah... go and try with 500MB first.. if not enough after the 1st month then U can upgrade to the RM99 plan.

For those who's not receiving emails; perhaps Maxis email server is clogged by all the emails they're receiving and sending out. Give it some time lah. So as long as U got ur SMS then can lor biggrin.gif

@blacktrix,
Yes that's possible otherwise give them a call. Someone reported earlier he checked with 123 and they confirmed the "order" was received and in the system biggrin.gif

@vui_msia,
I'm quite sure Maxis won't do that. Also, it's really not their fault if Ur buying an old product. If U look at it from the business point, Maxis will still have to carry stocks of the 3G and find ways to dispose them off..... biggrin.gif Unless of course Apple offers the upgrades which is highly unlikely because there's no reason for them to do so!

@jonest,
Er... I don't think it's the case for stocks pre-ordered. Well I'm off to Melaka this weekend with my Maxis insider so I'll have the whole weekend to check with him; wouldn't wanna disturb him on this now - will also ask him about upgrades and if I can, I'll post it up lah, if any news biggrin.gif

@Protoss-Zealot,
Ok. I'm sorry for being 'rude' but if U oredi know the information what's the point of your last question? tongue.gif

Also, thank U for the update but any talk on Maxis rate plans should be discussed there (http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1091499) and not here.

@kentang_peranchis,
I read there's been a couple who's received the confirmation email but I don't remember whom. The bulk however didn't get the confirmation email but did receive an SMS and have gone ahead to pay their RM200 deposit.

@cransdelta,
Yes I think it's possible because some forummers oredi paid their RM200 deposite without that confirmation email. Just make sure you do have the reference number.

@sscs,
I don't think so - as it is, the MEPs are still a little blur; tongue.gif
